Middle School
Celebrations
It's been a big year in Middle School, our Year 7's have finished their first year of high school and our Year 8's are ready to transition up into Senior School. We have seen all our student's flourish into competent learners and thrive in their friendship groups.
A couple of weeks ago we held an assembly to celebrate their successes, both for attendance and green posts. Congratulations to the following Year 7 and 8 students who achieved above 95% and 100% attendance.
We also celebrated the large list of students who gained 30 or more Green Posts in Semester 2. These students have gone above and beyond in their learning and with their behaviour.
Transition
On Friday 13 December, Year 7 and 8 students participated in their 2025 transition programs. The day featured a range of activities designed to prepare them for the upcoming year. These included an assembly where students met their new leaders and subschools, writing a reflective 'letter to self', and engaging in goal-setting exercises to set the stage for success in 2025.
In the afternoon, students took part in House group activities across the Middle School. These included a team scavenger hunt around the school, collaborative field games such as egg-and-spoon races and tug-of-war, and completing a series of photo challenges.
This memorable day was a fantastic way to wrap up the year for the Middle School. We look forward to celebrating their continued successes in 2025.
