Marist Family Support - Help Needed Please

Hi Marist Family,

Happy New Year!

We currently have a family of five who need our support and have set up a meal train starting tomorrow.

If anyone could spare some time to make a meal for this family, it would be greatly appreciated.

There are no specific dietary requirements however a pre-prepared meal that is easy to freeze or reheat is preferred.

Meals can be dropped off to the school Tuckshop from 8:30am to 2:00pm.

Please find all the details on the Meal Train link.

Thank you in advance for your support.

P&F 2025

The P&F wishes everyone a warm welcome back for 2025 – and extends a special welcome to new parents and carers to the College.

If you are wondering where to start to get involved with the College community in 2025, we have our AGM coming up on Monday 17 February. Everyone is welcome. The AGM is a great place to meet some new people and find out what all the different P&F groups do.

Sub-committees

The P&F co-ordinate a long list of very active sub-committees that are always happy for more hands or participants:

  • Raffles
  • Sports Canteen
  • Marist Family Support
  • Amity – Parent Functions
  • Marist Card and Games Day
  • Social Media
  • Solo Parents
  • Parents of Neurodiverse Learners
  • Boarder Support
  • Walkathon
  • Catholic School Parents Queensland representative

Executive roles

  • Nominations for Executive positions for 2025 are open (until Sunday 9 February 2025) - President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.
  • Please email the P&F Secretary for a nomination form secretarypandf@marash.qld.edu.au

Special asks for 2025

  • Do you have a background in:
  • Fundraising
  • Events management, or
  • Digital marketing?

These skills are always in high demand to support our many event-based activities and respective communications – Amity, Walkathon, Sports Canteens, and Card Days in particular.

  • We would also love to hear from anyone who has (or is willing to do) their RSA to join the wonderful pool of Amity volunteers who manage the year level parent functions on Friday nights. You can pick which functions you attend so it can be as small or as large a commitment as you choose.

More information?

Please reach out directly to any of the current P&F executive or sub-committees if you would like more information. Email secretarypandf@marash.qld.edu.au if you would like us to put you in touch.
