A Message from the Counselling Team
Welcome to a new school year!
Lunchtime can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially for new students still finding their place. If you’re looking for a welcoming space to relax, chat, and get creative, we invite you to join the Thursday Lunchtime Knitting, Sewing, and Craft Group in the Contemporary Learning Centre (CLC).
Facilitated by two of our counsellors, Jo and Achok, with support from other staff when available, this group offers students the opportunity to learn new skills such as knitting, crocheting, sewing, or engaging in various craft activities—tailored to student interests and our collective talents! If you’d instead not participate in an activity, you’re always welcome to sit, watch, and enjoy the friendly conversation.
Students are free to join every week or whenever they feel like it, and lunch can be eaten in the CLC during the session.
The CLC is a safe and welcoming space. Other lunchtime groups are also available—just ask the staff to see what’s on.
We look forward to meeting new faces this term!
The Counselling Team Mr Milan Colic, Ms Achok Bieth, and Ms Jo Webb
