This year, we are committed to fostering a positive learning environment where every student can thrive academically and personally. From engaging lessons to extracurricular activities, there’s so much to look forward to!

A special welcome to our Year 7 students and new students and families—we are delighted to have you join our school community. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need support as you settle in.

We also take a moment to acknowledge our Year 12 graduates who have moved on to further studies, apprenticeships, or the workforce. We wish them every success in this exciting new chapter of their lives!

Let’s make this year one of growth, success, and great memories. Here’s to a fantastic start!

HOMEWORK POLICY

Homework is crucial in a student’s learning journey. It reinforces classroom learning and builds essential skills for academic success.

Regular and systematic homework and revision:

Reinforces Learning – Homework helps students consolidate what they have learnt in class, improving understanding and retention.

Develops Time Management – Completing homework regularly teaches students to manage their time effectively and balance their responsibilities.

Encourages Independence – Working on tasks outside the classroom fosters self-discipline, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Prepares for Assessments – Regular practice enhances knowledge and confidence, preparing students for tests and examinations better.

Strengthens Responsibility—Taking ownership of homework helps students develop accountability and a strong work ethic, which are valuable for future studies and careers.

Parents and guardians can support their child’s learning by creating a structured homework routine and encouraging a positive attitude towards independent study. Together, we can make homework a powerful tool for success!

Please find our Homework Policy attached. Please take the time to read this document and familiarise yourself with college expectations.
