In STEM, from Foundation to Year 2, we use an app called PurpleMash. This app contains a suite of digital tools we use to develop computing and digital skills. Every year, PurpleMash runs a Festive Card competition where students worldwide (from 74 countries) submit designs.
This year, I am very proud to announce that Mia T (from 2CF) won the competition in the Under 8 Category with this beautiful design...
As the winner, Mia will receive printed copies of her card from PurpleMash and a $20 Amazon voucher. Her design will also be turned into an eCard on the Purple Mash website for other children to use!
Congratulations Mia T!!!
As we quickly approach the end of the year, here are a few reminders to parents of Year 6 students or children in other levels who will not return in 2025. Early in 2025, nForma, Seesaw, and Google will roll over, and you will no longer be able to access files for these children.
When reports are published soon, please download all of your child's reports and save them on your computer. These will be PDF copies.
This is a reminder that St John's is no longer using Flexi Schools to communicate electronically with parents. We are now using the nForma for Parents App, which is also the app through which student reports will be shared electronically with parents.
For instructions on how to install the app, please refer to the previous newsletter... https://newsletters.naavi.com/i/MLrXvZN/issue-7/page/11
