ARTIST OF THE WEEK

Week 7

Congratulations to Charlie S from 1MC for creating this beautiful artwork. 

The Year Ones have been learning about how Performing Arts links with Visual Arts and have created their own characters that they'd like to see on stage or in a movie. The students used multi-media to create this piece with oil pastel rubbing for their background and a character using textas and permanent markers.

Week 8

Well done to Oscar S from 3SY for creating this interesting collage artwork. 

Oscar’s collage is a scene that matches a clay house he made earlier this term. Oscar thought about what type of environment would best suit his “tree” themed house, and selected colours from magazine pages to carefully cut and paste into this scene. Oscar’s attention to detail in cutting out individual raindrops and creating branches for each tree is impressive. Congratulations!
