Intermediate basketball 14th August 

Myself and Ms Suzan Lee took the intermediate boys and girls basketball teams to Cobblebank Stadium. Both teams made it through to the grand finals quite easily where they were up against a challenge. The girls were down at half time 6 to 13 against Staunton, however fought back to come away with a 23 to 15 win. The boys were down by 5 points with 30 seconds left and came away with a 1-point win against Bacchus Marsh, thanks largely to 4 clutch free throws from Lucas C.

A very enjoyable experience with some dedicated, skills and hard-working group.  Amazing sportsmanship and respect were exhibited in representing Gisborne, we are now looking forward to the next round.
