VICTORIAN YOUNG LEADERS: INDONESIAN VIRTUAL PILOT PROGRAM
Gisborne Secondary College was privileged to be selected alongside 10 other Victorian schools and 11 Indonesian schools to participate in the Victorian Young Leaders: Indonesia Virtual Pilot Program, an innovative initiative facilitated by the Asia Education Foundation at the University of Melbourne in collaboration with the Victorian Department of Education.
From 1-3pm every day for three weeks, four of our year 9 students; Charlie F, Matilda B, Lily H and Keeley O had the unique opportunity to strengthen their Indonesian language skills, enhance cultural understanding, and foster connections with their peers in Indonesia. The program has been invaluable in reinforcing the importance of language education and encouraging our young leaders to seize this exclusive opportunity.
A huge congratulations and well done to Charlie, Lily, Matilda and Keeley.
