Congratulations

35 Years Young

Last month one of our staff members, Dr John Hill received his 35 years recognition of service award from DET. 

John has had a remarkable career working in a range of school settings across regional Victoria and even in the UK. 

He has shown a commitment to lifelong learning and recently received his doctorate.

John comes from a family of educators and is a skilled practitioner who has taught a variety of subjects although his passion is in the Physical Education space. 

He was literally’ thrown the keys’ when he began his Assistant Principal role at Baimbridge College and took on the role with skill, high expectations and an ability to connect with young people and their families.  He is now a mentor to many staff and continues to share his pedagogical strengths to build a succession of equally strong teachers at our school. 35 Years for DET and 2 Overseas.
