National Science Week  

The 2023 school theme for Science Week is Innovation: Powering Future Industries.  It incorporates advances in technology in all industries. This term our students are exploring science through their Inquiry unit on 'systems', which connects perfectly to the Science Week theme this year.  Check out their website for some amazing activities you can do at home! www.scienceweek.net.au 

To mark the week, students had an exciting visit from Matt and Ixya from the Monash University Nova Rover team. This team builds and programs a robot that carries out various tasks, similar to the robot sent to Mars. Matt and Ixya shared their experiences on the team which recently came 2nd in the world at the competition finals! Students had a blast learning about robotics and engineering! www.novarover.space/
