Hello everyone,

We have had a lovely celebration day today, and the weather was perfect for snuggly up in our winter woollies and enjoying a movie.

Support our Parents & Friends!

Did you know that we have an amazing group of parents/carers who support our students with fun events such as our Special Person's afternoon BBQ and school disco, AND they fundraise to support our school too, this year any funds raised will support our cooking program. They are a small group who need YOUR support to keep making the magic happen. Please give serious consideration to joining our Parents & Friends group, their great work can't keep going without your help! See the information below for their next meeting date and time.

Managing Anaphylaxis at our school.

I am often asked if we are a 'nut free' school and the answer is 'No'. Banning certain foods is not best practice when it comes to managing allergies and anaphylaxis in schools. We are 'allergy aware', which means-

* we teach our students not to share foods,

*students get regular reminders to wash their hands,

*staff have regular refreshers and training in how to manage anaphylactic reactions,

*student allergy information is available to all staff,

*families are consulted when their child will be attending a camp, excursion, participating in a class celebration or cooking at school.
