Year 6 Arcade Game STEM Projects

Ezzy and Archie have been working hard after school on their homework 'Arcade Game' project, showing great dedication, creativity, and teamwork. Activities like this help students develop important skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, time management, communication, and collaboration. By engaging in hands-on projects, they not only reinforce their learning but also build confidence, perseverance, resilience and independence, all while having fun creating something of their own.

Year 2: Then and Now

Then and Now: Olden Day Games

As part of our Inquiry unit, Change Over Time – Then and Now, the Grade 2 students have been exploring how games and activities have changed from the past to the present.

On Thursday afternoon, May 28th, the students had the exciting opportunity to experience and play a variety of olden day games. Working through four different rotations, the Year 2 cohort enjoyed activities including:

  1. Hoops and skipping ropes
  2. Egg and spoon races
  3. Sack races
  4. Bowling and quoits
