BHCS PING PONG A THON

It’s coming up to that time of year again – the BHCS Ping Pong a Thon! In 2026, this will be held on Friday 7th August (Term 3, end of week 4).

This annual event has become an important date in the life of our school community and reflects our ethos that inspires us to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly (Micah 6:8).

The aim of the day is to raise awareness and much needed funds to promote human freedom, whilst having some fun and building community in the process. 

Here is the run down:

• Donate: We welcome families to share the fundraising link to any family/friends 

   

• Purchase: Students can purchase Ping Pong a Thon t-shirts from the beginning of Term 3 (and wear the entire of Week 4), there will be student run gift stalls lunchtime & after school, there will be a sausage sizzle at lunch and class allocated time to play ping pong in our gym. 

   

• Attend: This year our Parent Pulse group will be running the after-school activities and evening event. Further information regarding this will be shared closer to the date

   

We are also continuing with our BHCS Hamper Auction across the whole school from Kinder through to Year 12. Each class has been allocated a theme and students encouraged to contribute an item in line with that theme. We will collate, package and prepare the final product to be sold via online auction. Details regarding your child’s class theme will be emailed out prior to the end of term.

Keen to be more involved? The Ping Pong a Thon organisation are looking for volunteers to be part of a new promotional resource - see details below 

FREE PANCAKE BREAKFAST - EVERY 2ND FRIDAY STARTING BACK ON 24TH JULY

Secondary students are invited to a free pancake breakfast hosted by Light Chapel Youth outside the M Block from 8.00am every 2nd Friday starting back on the 24th July. We would love to see you there! 

TOASTIE THURSDAYS 

If you’re in Year 7–12, come and grab a toastie from the Chaplaincy space every Thursday during Term. It’s always a great time to hang out, connect, and enjoy a warm snack!
