Spectators
As we gear up for game day this afternoon and Saturday, I'd like to remind everyone of some important expectations to ensure a smooth and respectful environment for players, coaches, and umpires during netball matches at Perth Netball Association.
- Sideline movement: Only the coach is permitted to move up and down the court. All spectators must stand stationary on the side of the court.
- Spectator positioning: Please stand behind the yellow line that runs along the full perimeter of the court, ensuring the umpire has sufficient space to move without interference.
- Restricted areas: Spectators are not allowed at the back of the court near the goal post.
- Respectful conduct: We kindly remind all spectators to show respect to both coaches, players and umpires. Spectators are not permitted to address the umpire or players before, during or after the game —only players, with guidance from their coaches, may communicate with the umpires.
- Game concerns: If you have a concern about the game, please ask a coach or team manager to contact me directly for assistance. Please do not approach the PNA desk, as they will not be able to assist with game-related concerns without a Netball Club Coordinator present and a complaint card.
Thank you for your cooperation in creating a positive and respectful atmosphere for everyone involved.
Best of luck to the primary players kicking off Round 4 for NetSetGo Friday afternoon.
Wishing success to the secondary teams in Round 5, as well as the Years 5 & 6 players starting Round 1 of non-grading games on Saturday.
