Shop for Your School
Tonight, five chosen students from SMCM will battle it out for extra points in the Shop for Your School promotion. Get yourself down there between 5 and 7pm to cheer them on and be part of the fun! Collingwood supporters are in for a treat if you can get down there!
Why not pick up dinner or some quick shopping while you are there and then don't forget to upload those receipts so we can be in with a chance to win up to $25,000!
Next week we are running a homegroup competition - the homegroup that brings in the most receipts to be uploaded will win a treat of hot chips! The homegroup with the second most will win a sweet treat each as well!
Get your friends and extended family involved and ask to get their receipts too! Every point counts!
Don't know how to upload? No worries! Send a photo of your receipt to kristie.hocking@smcmeppingnth.catholic.edu.au or simply drop it off to reception.
National Walk Safely to School Day
It was great to see so many families Walk Safely to School on Friday 16th May. It was a very cold start to the day, especially compared to the beautiful weather we have been having, but everyone was rugged right up! We went through so many stickers, stamps and tattoos for everyone that participated.
The sunshine, fresh air and exercise first thing in the morning put everyone in a great mood and resulted in a very successful morning of learning in the homegroups.
Why not try and incorporate a walk to school once or twice a week? Meet up with other families and start the day in an active way!

Drop in for a cup of tea or coffee, a chat, and the chance to meet new people.
Free tea and coffee provided! Fun games and activities. Everyone is welcome. No bookings needed.
