Sacrament of Holy Eucharist
This Saturday, our Year 4 students will joyfully receive the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist for the first time. This sacred moment marks a significant step in their spiritual journey and deepens their connection to our Catholic faith.
The Eucharist is a central part of our faith, embodying the presence of Jesus Christ and inviting us into a deeper relationship with Him and with one another. As our students approach this milestone, let us keep them in our prayers, asking God to bless them with His peace and love.
May this sacrament inspire our children to live lives of compassion, service, and faith, reflecting the love of Christ in all they do.

The Feast of the Ascension of Jesus
Forty days after Easter we celebrate the Ascension of Jesus into heaven. According to the New Testament in the Bible, Jesus Christ met several times with his disciples after his resurrection to instruct them on how to carry out his teachings. It is believed that on the 40th day, he took them to the Mount of Olives, where they watched as he ascended to heaven.
The Ascension was a turning point in the life of the church. It brought closure to the earthly activity of Jesus and launched the apostles on their own ministry. Jesus tells them that the time of fulfilment is approaching. Jesus informs them that though he will leave them, they will experience him through the presence of the Spirit.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Go and teach all people my gospel.
I am with you always, until the end of the world.
Alleluia!
The account of the ascension of Jesus marks a turning point in his relationship with his closest followers. It reports the commission to preach the gospel to all. We are reminded that this is our mission as faithful followers of Jesus. Jesus asks us to walk faithfully in His footsteps, guided by the Holy Spirit
- How do you proclaim the good news of Jesus through your words and actions in your daily life?
- How do you live out your mission as a follower of Christ?
