Container Deposit Scheme

St Joseph’s is proud to become a donation partner for the Container Deposit Scheme. 

This is a valuable initiative that supports both our fundraising goals and our commitment to reducing waste in the school yard. By collecting eligible drink containers—particularly those from our Friday hot lunches—we can significantly cut down on litter while raising funds for important school projects and resources. 

This program not only turns waste into opportunity but also encourages students to take an active role in caring for their environment. Through this simple, hands-on approach, we’re creating a cleaner school, supporting sustainability, and giving our fundraising efforts a meaningful boost.

We will be looking for families to assist in taking the containers collected at school to the return location. If you are able to assist with this, please email siobhan.odwyer@sjmalvern.catholic.edu.au.
