What’s been happening in the classrooms this week…

This week is National Reconciliation Week, a time when Australian's learn, listen, and walk together respectfully.

It’s a special time in Australia when we learn how to be kind and fair, especially to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Sometimes, people or groups have been treated unfairly, and Reconciliation Week helps us learn how to say sorry and do better, just like we do with our friends.

Throughout the school, we discussed ways in which we can be peacemakers with our hearts and hands, moving forward to make our school, community and Australia a better place for everyone.
