Information
Allocate your School Saving Bonus NOW
Families can continue to use School Saving Bonus (SSB) funds until Monday, 30 June 2025 to buy uniforms or to allocate funds to school activities using the parent/carer online system.
Any funds remaining after 30 June 2025, including online voucher amounts that have not been redeemed, will become a school activities credit held against the family account for each student. However, the credit will not be available on your family account at our school until early August. This means you will need to pay for school activities during July/early August if you don’t allocate your SSB funds.
To use any remaining SSB funds to cover the cost of school activities in July, please refer to the SSB online system and allocate the funds to school activities before 30 June 2025.
To learn more about the SSB online system, download the step-by-step System guide for parents and carers (DOCX, 945KB) or watch this School Saving Bonus video. System guide translations are also available in 14 languages.
The Department of Education’s SSB contact centre will remain available until 30 June 2025. The contact centre can be reached by calling 1800 338 663, between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm on weekdays.
After this date, please contact the office for any SSB related questions.

Head Lice
Head lice are tiny insects that vary in colour from cream to brown/black. ‘Nits’ is the common name for the small eggs that are laid by the head lice. They are the size of a grain of salt, yellow-white in colour, and are found glued to the hair near the scalp. They are usually found behind the ears, the back of the neck and fringe.
Head lice are spread mostly by direct head-to-head contact. The sharing of hats, combs and other hair accessories may also spread head lice, but this is rare. Head lice have nothing to do with cleanliness.
To assist us in the prevention of head lice spreading please ensure you check your child/ren’s hair. If head lice or nits are found, please treat immediately.
Your local pharmacy will also be able to offer some treatment options. Nits (live eggs) hatch in 7-10 days. The key to success in getting rid of them is to repeat whatever treatment you use after one week.
In the case that head lice or nits are detected on inspection it is required that you begin treatment prior to your child returning to school.
Thank you for your co-operation.
