Visual Arts - ‘Be a Learner’ Simon 4C Simon showed great focus and pride with his mixed media mushroom collage. He was a very respectful member of the art class. Congratulations Simon!
Chinese - Kyvaan 3C ‘Be a Learner’ Kyvaan did a fantastic job in the group competition and the assessment. He could fluently ask and answer questions about greetings. He was also a good leader who led the team to victory. Well done!
L.L.I. (Year 3) - Ashleigh 3A You showed great focus and determination when we played the ‘Contractions Memory Game’. You are a great learner Ashleigh! Keep working hard in L.L.I. You should be very proud of your efforts!
L.L.I. (Year 2) - Kyrie 2B - ‘Be Respectful’ Kyrie can be relied on to work collaboratively in L.L.I. sessions. He shares resources, uses his manners and often kindly offers to help other students in his reading group. Well done, Kyrie !
6A - Naiomie Naiomie is a focused and engaged student who has shown great development in her confidence, especially in Maths. She enjoys sharing her learning with her peers and is a trusted member of our grade. Naiomie consistently demonstrates our school values and can always be relied upon to do her best. 6B - Jane (Be a Learner) Jane has truly demonstrated exceptional growth in her approach to mathematics this week. She consistently challenges herself by eagerly taking on new and difficult problems, always maintaining a positive and determined attitude. Jane approaches each challenge with enthusiasm and resilience. Her willingness to step out of her comfort zone not only strengthens her own skills but also inspires her peers to push their own boundaries. Keep up the fantastic effort!

4A - Alex (Be a Learner) Alex has shown great learning in Writing this week by being focused and willing to give things a go. He chose a very interesting nocturnal Australian animal and independently researched information about the animal's appearance, behaviour and habitat. His poem on this incredible animal shows creativity and a strong understanding of this creature's unique features and way of life. Keep up your amazing efforts Alex!
4B -Elissa (Be a Learner) for tackling new learning with 100% effort in Mathematics this week while learning about division. She excitedly showed off her new knowledge to her classmates and assisted others with their learning. Fantastic effort Elissa!
4C - Anthony (Be a Learner) this week Anthony has shown great resilience in writing during our Scaffolding Literacy unit. He has persevered and produced a great piece of writing about an Australian animal. Great effort Anthony!
3A - Ashleigh (Be a Learner) Ashleigh demonstrated pride in her learning this week when researching a chosen animal for her information report. She put in a lot of effort and showed enthusiasm towards her learning. Keep up the great effort Ashleigh!
3B - Elsa (Be a Learner) for the excellent research skills she has demonstrated during the planning and drafting stages of her information report. Fantastic work, Elsa!
3C - Katie 'Be a Learner' This award is for working persistently through her coding course and showing pride in her success! Awesome work, Katie!
2A- Nathan for being a focused learner during our reading sessions this week. Nathan confidently identified a range of nonfiction text features (such as headings, labels and a diagram) and could share his learning with the class. Well done, Nathan!
2B - Nael for demonstrating a positive attitude towards his learning especially in Mathematics. He enjoys attempting new strategies that have been taught and shows resilience when faced with challenges. Well done Nael!
