From the Senior Leadership

Excellence in Leadership

We congratulate Ava Barbara on being acknowledged for her College leadership role at the Penrith Council Civic Reception on the evening of Thursday, 15 May. Ava is an exemplary College Captain whose actions reflect her deep commitment to our Caroline Chisholm College community. While she ably walks alongside her Year 12 cohort in the last year of their school journey, she is also providing a wonderful role model for our junior students, who can see her dedication, commitment and service to others.

Focus on Learning

Students across all year groups are currently focused on demonstrating their learning through a variety of learning and assessment tasks in each of their subjects. By engaging in these tasks, students are able to show their ability to interpret information, think critically, and communicate their ideas effectively. With Year 7, 8 and 9 students completing common tasks across classes in each subject, Year 10 students completing exams, and Year 11 and 12 students completing formal assessment tasks, teachers are gauging student progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing targeted feedback to support further learning. Amidst the busyness, we encourage you to take a moment to check in with your daughter. Ask about her learning, her friendships, her goals, and how she is feeling. As Philippians 4:6 gently reminds us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

Wellbeing and academic growth go hand in hand. Your continued partnership in nurturing both aspects of your daughter’s development is deeply appreciated.

As always, we thank you for your unwavering support and pray that God's grace continues to guide all of us in our shared mission.

Year 11 2026, Subject Selections - Pathways to Success

As we journey together through Term 2, we remain steadfast in our mission to nurture every young woman with love, wisdom, and purpose. We are committed to high expectations and informed decision-making, especially as our students prepare for their senior years.

Our Information Night on Tuesday 3rd June saw the start of our exciting and important journey of subject selection for our Year 10 students as they look ahead to Year 11 and Year 12. This process is more than just choosing subjects—it’s about setting the foundation for a bright and purposeful future. As Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”

Students on Wednesday 4th June & Thursday 5th June attended presentations from each Key Learning Area, offering insight into the opportunities each subject can provide. This clarity empowers them to make informed, thoughtful choices about their future. In the coming week, students and families will take part in one-on-one interviews with our staff to further support these important decisions. These conversations are vital, ensuring our young women feel supported and confident in the pathways they are choosing.

Pentecost and Multicultural Day - Celebrating Diversity

Today Friday 6th June, our school came alive with colour, music, and joy as we celebrated Multicultural Day in beautiful harmony with Pentecost Sunday. The story of Pentecost reminds us of the gift of the Holy Spirit and the unifying power of language and culture, as expressed in Acts 2:4, “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”

It was a blessing to see our community come together in the spirit of love and unity, reflecting the diversity and richness that each of our students and families bring to Caroline Chisholm College.

Thank You for Your Voice – Tell Them From Me Survey

We extend our sincere thanks to all the parents and carers who took the time to complete the Tell Them From Me survey, it has now closed. Your thoughtful feedback is greatly appreciated and plays an important role in shaping the future direction of our College.

Your responses offer valuable insight into the experiences, hopes, and expectations you have for your child’s education. As a Catholic learning community, we are committed to continuous growth and improvement, and your input helps us to better understand how we can serve and support our students and families. We look forward to using this feedback to strengthen our mission, enhance our practices, and remain faithful to our vision of nurturing learners in faith, hope and love.
