Parking/Traffic Reminders

With regular complaints to Council from neighbours and parents, along with our meetings and communications, Council and SAPOL have begun increased patrols in the area. It is crucial that we, as a community, work together to minimise these disruptions and uphold our responsibility towards our neighbours and the local traffic environment.

I must express our deep concern over recent reports indicating a lack of respect towards our neighbours and instances of inappropriate behaviour. We must all strive to demonstrate courtesy and adhere to traffic regulations.

Here are some important reminders:

  • Do not park across driveways—even partially— and avoid leaving your vehicle idle while waiting for your child.
  • Refrain from parking on yellow lines or in restricted areas.
  • Maintain proper distance from the pedestrian crossing on Lynton Ave (you must not park within 10 metres of a crossing; bold white lines indicate this zone).
  • Do not block traffic flow when waiting to get into the 2-minute drop-off/pick-up zone.
  • Respect the 2-minute parking zone times— 8am - 9 am and 3pm - 4pm.
  • Be courteous and considerate to our neighbours.
  • Observe all street signage, including the designated Disabled Parking area on Lynton Ave.

I have included some information supplied to us by Council and SAPOL:

If you have any questions regarding parking around the College or the redevelopment programme please do not hesitate to contact me via mshilling@emmauscc.sa.edu.au.

Limited places available for Year 10, 2026

Although there are waiting pools for most of our Year levels in the forthcoming two years, there are enrolment spaces available in the Year 10, 2026 cohort (inc. Year 9, 2025).

We are thrilled to provide this an opportunity for more young people to achieve their SACE in a nurturing Christian community where they can flourish.
