Parent Webinar - Drug & Alcohol Education

Monday 9 September, 7pm

All parents are invited to attend a webinar hosted by Encounter Education.

SA's leading Alcohol & Other Drug Education program presents a night of evidence-based information and strategies for you to support your child/ren.

The parent webinar will cover: 

• Current uses of alcohol and other drugs among young people
• Brain development and risk-taking behaviours
• Hosting a party and legal considerations
• Talking to a young person about alcohol or other drugs
• Positively influencing young people's choices

Emmaus Early Explorers

Monday 9 September

If you have children aged three and under, we warmly invite you and your little ones to our second session of Emmaus Early Explorers on Monday 9 September. 

This will be a fantastic chance to make new friends, share experiences over a cuppa, and learn together while your children play in a safe and welcoming environment.

Lauren Hughes, Director of the Early Learning Centre, and Joel Overweel, Emmaus Christian College Chaplain, will be present to facilitate these sessions.

Spring Instrumental Night

This week is our Spring Instrumental Night - this Thursday 5 September, starting at 7pm in Emmaus Performing Arts Centre South Plympton Campus - all are welcome! 

We have a wonderful array of talent to offer - children ranging in age from Junior Primary right up to Secondary school. 

We have a great variety of instruments being played as well - Piano, Strings, Woodwind, Percussion (Drums), Brass, Vocals and Guitar, so I think we have it all covered!
