Father’s Day Stall

Our Father’s Day stall, held on Wednesday in the school gymnasium, was a tremendous success! Over 800 items were purchased by our students for their dads.

A big thank you goes out to all the volunteers and to the families who supported this fundraiser by sending money with their children. We are pleased to announce that $1,590 was raised.

Wishing everyone a Happy Father’s Day this Sunday—I’m certainly looking forward to a big breakfast and, hopefully, a new set of golf clubs!

$400 Government Bonus

The Government has recently announced a school saving bonus of $400 to support families with the financial requirements of educating their children.  Our senior staff have recently attended an information session regarding this program, and information will be available to families in today’s newsletter.

Sporting Success at PPPS

Mr. Scanu and Mr. Falcone continue to maximise opportunities for our students to excel in the sporting field.  Recently both of our lawn bowls teams were successful at a regional level, and now move onto the state finals. Whilst both soccer teams also represented the school with pride at the regional final’s day.  Sixty-six of our students this week attended the District Athletics Carnival, where we achieved a second placing overall, amongst the eight schools involved.

It Was Magic!

Our book week celebrations involved many different activities for our students, including a magic show, author presentation, guess the teachers’ favourite book competition and a visit from Thelma the Unicorn herself.

I attended the magic show in person and was really impressed by not only the entertaining presentation, but the high level of engagement of students watching the show.

2025 Prep Readiness Sessions Have Begun

We have had the first day of our Prep Readiness Program with 50 new students attending on Thursday to spend a session in our prep building.

This experience helps prepare our 2025 preps for the upcoming school year.  It is also a great opportunity to welcome new families to the PPPS community.  Children participated in a number of activities with our current prep teaching staff.

The highlight was all of these new students wearing their ‘Blossom into Prep’ transition t-shirts.

Opening the School Gates

In response to recent concerns regarding student safety, please note that the external gates to and from the school will now be opened at 3:20 pm.

We kindly ask for your patience as our staff work to open the gates as quickly as possible. Morning gate opening will continue at 8:30 am.
