Visit to the Wheelers Hill Library

We were fortunate enough to be invited to the Wheelers Hill Library to see a special production to celebrate Book Week's theme for 2024, 'Reading is Magic!'

We were entertained by a talking book named Paige Turner who discusses this with a wizard who discovered how books were full of magic!

The show was full of dancing, audience participation and heaps of shortlisted book characters, we really enjoyed the experience.

Many thanks to our parent helpers who accompanied us on the walk to and from the library. We also got to meet some library staff (or was it really Elmer the Elephant?) and explore the beautiful gardens surrounding the library, complete with waterlily pond and face sculptures. A great afternoon to finish a great Book Week!
