District Athletics

Next Tuesday and Wednesday our grade 3-6 students will compete in the Echuca District athletics. In PE, year level sport and at lunchtimes children have been learning how to compete in each athletic event and the Echuca Athletics is a great event for them to apply their learning. It is expected that all students attened this event and for that reason the school is covering the cost of the bus. The event is a fun participation based days with children being grouped roughly with children of similar ability. From this event students will be selected to progress to the Campaspe Division Athletics which is held in Bendigo on 16th September.

We encourage parents and spectators to head over to Vic Park Echuca to cheer us on!

11/12 year olds (grade 5/6) Tuesday and 9/10 (grade 3/4) Wednesday.

Swimming Program

It has been a been a huge 2 weeks of swimming. Thank you to the extra effort parent put in with ensuring their gear is ready to go each day.

Swimming and Water Safety is an important part of our Health and PE Curriculum as well as a life skill.

Friends and families welcome to join us at 1pm for our Expo.

Twin Rivers interschool sports

Thanks to Twin Rivers Primary School for allowing us to team up with them for the Echuca Schools Sports Competition. For 6 Friday afternoons we travelled to Echuca to play football and netball. We had 13 boys play football and 13 girls played netball. Well done to the B Grade netball team who made it through to the Grand Final. Thanks to the staff and parents that made it possible for our students to attend each week.
