Author Visit for Book Week

On the 19th of August the children's Author Morris Gleitzman is coming to our school in the hall. We (Year 5/6) have been doing a novel study on the book "Boy Overboard" which is written by him! It is a book where some Afghan Children are playing soccer. Their names are Jamal, Yusuf, Mussa, Aziz and Zolten. Then, Jama's sister, Bibi comes to play but, she forgot that in Afghanistan girls are not allowed to play soccer nor be outside without a male and a burqa - which is like a dress that covers the whole face and body. 

I'm looking forward to finding out more and meeting him!
