Year 3 and 4 students are making Roman Swords in Visual Arts now.

First, we researched Roman swords. Then designed our own version of a Roman sword. This was a long process, and we needed a lot of patience.

We made the base of the sword using cardboard and masking tape, did 3 layers of papier mâché using newspaper, did the last layer with white paper, and painted it with acrylic paint.

Final step, we decorated with glitter glue, fake jewellery, beads and so on.

Year 5/6 Drama Performance “Time Slip to Edo!?”

This semester, Year 5/6 students are working on a play titled "Time Slip to Edo!?". The story is based on a plot conceived by some of the students and was turned into a play by Okano sensei. Each class will perform one scene and the story will come to completion. Everyone is working hard to prepare this piece for the Amazing Art Show in Term 4. However, since we have put in so much effort, we would also like to invite parents to watch their children perform. The play will be presented in the school hall on Thu 12 Sep from 11:45am~1:00pm. We hope you can join us if your schedule allows!
