Principal's Report

Dear Parents and Friends,

Renovation Update 

Fences are down, finishing touches on painting is happening, our new furniture has arrived! Staff were able to walk through this week and were excited to see the changes. Once all is signed off, we will show the space to the students and organise an opportunity for parents to come and look. 

Beechworth Bakery 40th Birthday School Stall 

Saturday 19th October Beechworth Bakery are celebrating 40 years. As a part of this celebration, we will be holding a School Stall. Senior students will make friendship bracelets to sell at the stall and be invited to come along for an hour or two on the day to man the stall (with support from school staff). Further information will be sent home. 

Trivia Night 

A shout out to the committee who have been meeting over the last few weeks to organise our annual Trivia Night. This with take place also on Saturday 19th October. More details such as location (will be central Beechworth) and time will be confirmed over the coming weeks. Lock this date in and start brushing up on your general knowledge!! 

TheirCare 

Late last week I received official correspondence from TheirCare that they will be finishing up at the end of term. This is disappointing news and I thank those families who have utilized and supported after-school care.  

This will impact both after-school care and care on closure days. Over the coming days, I will send home a letter outlining steps we have taken to work with Catholic Education Sandhurst moving forward. 

Morning Tea

All Parents and Parishioners are invited to a Morning Tea on Monday 21st October at 11:30 am in the school. Once we have had a cuppa and a chat there will be an opportunity to have a tour of our new renovations.
