Book Week 2024

Welcome to Book Week 2024! We have had a fantastic week so far with lots of children enjoying our break time activities. We have been celebrating this year’s theme, “Reading is Magic”, during our library time together. We still have some great activities that children can be a part of including the Book Swap and Book Character Dress Up Day. 

Tomorrow morning is the last day for children to hand in books for the Book Swap which will happen during afternoon break Thursday. Friday is our Book Character Dress Up Day when children can come dressed as their favourite book character (please bring the book) or as the theme “Reading is Magic”. 

Book Week Assembly and Parade

On Friday morning, we will host our annual Book Week Assembly and Book Character Dress Up Parade. Parents, caregivers, grandparents and siblings are warmly invited to attend. Due to the inclement weather the Book Week, Assembly will now be held in the Hall. Hot drinks will be available to purchase from the 'Bean There Drank That' coffee van. We would love to see parents, caregivers and siblings dressed up too!

Scholastic Book Club

Book club catalogues have been sent home with your child. Please be aware that orders will close on Friday 6 September 2024. You can place your orders by going to scholastic.com.au
