Welcome Back! Term 4 Here We Come!
We’re excited to kick off Term 4 with a splash! Our Junior School students have begun their swimming lessons at the Armadale Aquatic Centre, diving into a wonderful opportunity for learning and fun.
In the first two weeks of term, students from Year 3 to Year 6 at Salvado Catholic College are participating in In-Term Swimming Lessons as part of the Physical Education and Health Learning Area of the Australian Curriculum. These lessons are designed not only to teach swimming techniques but also to emphasise the importance of water safety.
All instructors at the Active Swim School are AUSTSWIM or Swim Australia accredited and hold current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications along with Working with Children clearances, ensuring that our students are in safe hands.
Swimming is a vital life skill, and the Active Swim School provides a fun and safe environment for our community to learn. With Royal Lifesaving Society endorsed Swim School levels, students are gaining valuable skills while enjoying the process.
We’re already seeing smiles, improved fitness, and enhanced swimming abilities—ticks all around! Here’s to a fantastic Term 4 filled with splashes of joy and learning!
Warm regards,
Mrs Christine Pitman
Head of Junior School (Year 3 to Year 6)
