NAIDOC Week

It was a big week of NAIDOC Celebrations! NAIDOC week occurs annually and celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Our teaching staff had the privilege of being part of a ‘Yarning Circle’ with Aunty Mary. She shared her story and we shared ours. 

Thank you Aunty Mary for your wisdom and sharing of Aboriginal Culture and heritage with us all.

We held our NAIDOC Week Assembly last Friday. Thank you to Aunty Mary and our Aboriginal Educator Ella for all your hard work.

Congratulations to Benny, Zaidee, Florence, Luca, Hugh, Miranda & Jemima who were presented with NAIDOC Awards from Ella and Ally, Flynn, Tom & Miranda who were presented with gifts from Aunty Mary.
