BOOKTACULAR Book Week Wrap Up!

We would like to extend a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who contributed to the success of our BOOKTACULAR Book Week event. To college staff, enthusiastic students, supportive parents and wonderful visitors – thank you for making this week-long celebration truly spectacular!

Throughout the biggest week of the year for the College Resource Library, we enjoyed a variety of engaging activities every day, from interactive sessions for students from Prep to Year 12 with our wonderful presenters, daily lunchtime activities, the fantastic Scholastic Book Fair, and many opportunities to explore and experience the College Resource Library including displays and recognising the 2024 CBCA shortlisted and winning texts. 

It is wonderful when we are able to open our doors and share the value of our library with our community. The participation and enthusiasm has been truly inspiring, and it's clear that our love for reading and learning is stronger than ever.

It is also important to recognise the dedication, care, and passion held by library staff for such an event. A special, heartfelt thank you goes to our incredible Library Coordinator, Jen. Your vision and relentless hard work over the past 12 months have brought BOOKTACULAR to life, making it a vital and cherished event for our community. 

We are deeply grateful for your organisation, creativity, and commitment to making our library the best it can be for our students. Thank you once again to everyone for your invaluable support and participation. We look forward to many more Book Week celebrations in the future!
