SJ News

In English, SJ have been working on their imaginative writing skills. We read the book If I was a horse by Sophie Blackall. Using a template students wrote their own story about if they were an animal. Students wrote about if they were a bee, a giraffe, an elephant, a pink axolotl, a cockatoo and a rottweiler.

Blake said, “I wanted to be a giraffe because I won’t have to go to school.” Ethan said, “I wanted to be a cockatoo because I want to fly.” Kane said, “I wanted to be a pink axolotl because I want to swim and hunt fish to eat.” Matilda said, “I want to be an elephant because I want to live in the zoo.”

Students did a fantastic job of writing their story and presenting them at assembly.

Well done SJ.
