Become a Foster Carer

Anglicare Victoria is part of a small team that engages with members of the community who are interested in becoming foster carers.

Anglicare is currently in the process of expanding the Western Region Foster Care Program into the Ballarat and Central Highlands Region and looking to raise awareness of foster caring within local networks.

There is a strong need for more local foster carers who can provide a nurturing and supportive home for children not able to live safely in their own family homes due to protective and welfare concerns.  There are a range of ways people can support children and young people as carers and we encourage anyone interested to get in touch with Anglicare to gather information or attend an online information session.
