Book Fair begins next Monday May 5th

The Lamont Book Fair begins next week on Monday morning. It will be open for half an hour before and after school for 6 days, as well as Saturday for three hours. See the accompanying flyer for details.

Students will visit the Book Fair at the beginning of their Library session in Week 3. It is a chance for them to get excited about reading books. 

They will be able to make a "wish list" to take home and/or give to me as suggestions to purchase with some of the Book Commission that we raise from the Fair. Book Commission is 30% of total sales if we buy more than $1500 worth of books. 

As in past years, there will be the opportunity to purchase books from the wish list online and they can be delivered to a classroom if they haven't been picked up the next day from the Book Fair. Popular titles will be put on back order and delivered when the Book Fair is picked up on the morning of Wednesday 14th May (2 days after the last session).

Please note that we would appreciate if students visited the Book Fair with a supervising adult.
