School Saving Bonus -Update

The School Saving Bonus (SSB) is providing a one-off support of $400 for families of Victorian government school students to help with 2025 school costs.

Remaining parent and carer SSB funds to become a school activities credit

All SSB funds yet to be spent or allocated by parents and carers, as of Monday 30 June 2025, will convert to a school activities credit. This includes any online voucher amounts that have not been redeemed by parents and carers.

A reconciliation process will take place in July 2025. The activities credit should appear in the relevant CASES21 family account by the end of July.

Parents and carers who want to use the funds in July to pay for activities must allocate these funds to school activities in their SSB portal before 30 June.
