UONDRH Health Careers Expo

Students attended the UONDRH Health Careers Expo in Tamworth on Tuesday, 10 March enjoying an amazing day filled with hands-on, face-to-face workshops designed to give a real insight into careers in health.

Throughout the day, students explored a wide range of health professions including Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Mental Health, Nursing and Nutrition and Dietetics.

Students took part in a variety of interactive activities, including plastering broken bones, using occupational therapy equipment designed to support people with additional needs, working through UCAT preparation questions for medicine, witnessing a simulated delivery of a baby, examining X-rays and much more.

It was a fantastic opportunity for students to gain a deeper understanding of what a career in health might look like while connecting directly with professionals and educators working in the field.
