Updates from the Office

Parent Contributions
Parent financial contributions for 2026 are now live on Compass.
Contributions from our families make a significant difference to the programs and opportunities we can offer. Schools provide students with instruction to fulfil the standard Victorian curriculum. The continued support of our families helps us provide the highest quality education and resources for our students.
Contributions can be made through Compass or in person at the office.
If you have any questions or require additional support, please contact the office team.
Financial Support for Families
Wimba Primary School understands that some families may experience financial difficulties. To support our community, we offer a range of assistance options, including the Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF).
Families who hold a valid means-tested concession card, as well as temporary foster parents, are eligible to apply for CSEF funding of $400 per child. These funds can be used to help cover the costs of school camps, excursions, and incursions.
Key Information:
- Applications open: 27 January 2026
- Applications close: 26 June 2026
- A new application form must be submitted each year
To apply, parents or legal guardians must provide:
- A completed CSEF application form
- A copy of their valid concession card
Please submit all required documents to the school office.
If you have any questions or require assistance with your application, please contact the office team. We are here to help...

Student Health Updates
If there are any updates regarding your child’s health, please contact the office with the relevant information. This includes any changes to allergy, anaphylaxis, or asthma management plans—please provide an updated copy to the office as soon as possible.
For any plans due for review over the school holidays or in the upcoming term, I will be in touch with you via email.
If your child requires medication during school hours, please contact the office. A medication authority form must be completed prior to any medication being administered.
If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to visit the office and speak with me or a member of our team.
Wishing you all a Happy Easter and a safe and enjoyable holiday.

Permission Forms
On Meet the Teacher night all students should have been given permission and consent forms covering photo permissions, technology use, local excursions and headlice inspections.
These permissions only need to be done once and will follow your child through their time at Wimba Primary School.
We ask that these forms are completed and returned by Thursday 2nd April.
Please contact the office if you did not receive a copy for each of your children
