TERM 2 REFLECTION:
🌸 HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! 🌸
We hope your Mother’s Day was as special as you are! In our classroom, we were busy creating beautiful gifts and heartfelt cards to show you just how much you mean to us. It was a joy to see the love and creativity poured into every decoration, each one a small reminder of how cherished you are. We also enjoyed those special ladies who were able to join us in the 5/6A classroom.
Thank you for everything you do—you are truly amazing!
With love,
5/6A

MASTERING THE ART OF DEBATING
🙈🙉🙊
BANG BANG BANG goes the gavel on the lectern. We call to order 5/6A’s Debating sessions! Throughout Term 2, we have been busy learning invaluable skills on how to debate in front of crowds big and small. Here are some tips and tricks that 5/6A could now tell you ALL about:
- Practice, Practice, Practice
- Know Your Audience
- Work on Body Language
- Focus on Voice and Delivery
- Manage Nervousness
- Encourage Feedback
- Celebrate Success
By learning and practicing these debating skills, students in 5/6A have become more confident and effective communicators, demonstrated through their ‘Off The Cuff’ and prepared debates on a variety of topics.
NETS, NETS EVERYWHERE!
Our classroom has been buzzing with 3D creativity! We’ve been diving into the world of nets—the flat patterns that fold into 3D objects. We explored how nets are cleverly used in real-world packaging and then took on the challenge ourselves. From sketching designs to crafting logos and building our own product packages, we became packaging pros! Our imaginations ran wild as we turned simple shapes into eye-catching containers for our very own invented products.
