Dear Parents and Carers,

As we come towards the end of another vibrant term at St Margaret Mary’s, I am delighted to celebrate the rich learning and strong community spirit that have defined these past months.

Our students have shown wonderful curiosity and engagement across all areas of learning. They have engaged in a range of excursions that have sparked meaningful connections beyond the classroom. From exploring gold in Camden Park, to building an understanding of our government on the Canberra overnight excursion, discovering our history at the Barracks Hyde Park and experiencing the past at Rouse Hill Estate. A huge thank you to Melina James and Kellie Foley as well as our wonderful parent helpers for making this possible.

Our calendar has been full of exciting extracurricular activities such as Gala Days that showcased our teamwork and talent, the Athletics Carnival which highlighted our students’ determination and our Dance Troupes who continued to impress us with their talent. We were also honoured to welcome Luke Kennedy, whose inspiring visit uplifted our staff and parent community.

Faith remains central to life at St Margaret Mary’s. This term, we celebrated many special liturgies such as Easter, Our Lady Help of Christians, Mother’s Day and Pentecost.  Our students also took part in the Winter Sleepout, deepening their empathy and awareness of homelessness in our community. Thank you to all the parents and carers who have joined our morning assemblies and liturgies. It is always heartwarming to celebrate as a community.

Thank you to our families and staff for your ongoing support in making this term so successful. Wishing you all a restful and joyful break.
