This week in Mathematics, the Year 6 students have been learning about the subject of Space. They have learnt about the graphic designer M.C.Escher, who has created many colourful mosaic tessellations. The Grade 6s have been creating their own beautiful tessellations on coloured paper. Here’s a sample of our work.

Beep, beep, beep! “Stupid alarm clock” Annie moaned, rolling out of bed “so exhausted" she complained. You’re probably wondering whose Annie. Well Annie lives in a small wooden cottage near the woods and goes to saint Charles school for girls. Today is an incredibly special day for Annie, her artwork might be accepted into the national art competition of America (NACOA for short) which would be a huge achievement for her. Sizzle sizzle sizzle “probably just dad making bacon downstairs” she huffed.  She runs downstairs and sees the twins eating breakfast. The twins spook Annie out because they do everything together, they were as unsettling as a shadow (so weird). Broom broom broooom she can hear something coming from outside she rushes out as swift as a dart to see if it is the post man. Sadly, it’s not it’s just her friend Willow. 

 “What are you doing here Willow?” She whimpers her head drooping like a broken lily. “I came here to give you your mail the post man got the wrong address.” Annie’s eyes widen as she sprints to Willow to snatch the mail out of her small soft hands. When she sees the letter that could be her destiny. She tears the letter open which makes a sound like the ocean roaring in the distance and peeks inside hopefully. A smile forms on Annie’s face. “So, did you get in? Annie looks at Willows blue eyes “YES”! ☺ She yells jumping up and down with joy “thanks willow” Annie beams as she paces inside to tell her dad the brilliant news. 

 “Dad, I got into the national Art competition” she beams. Annie knew her dad didn’t want her to do art because her mother was an artist. She got accepted to an art comp, but she never returned, but she did it anyway. When her dad hears this, he starts to roll his eyes and mumble under his breath. Tears run down Annie’s cheeks as she tearfully runs into her room dads voice fading away like an echo. She gets out her notebook with the art she would present at the competition she spent day after day and night after night working furiously on her notebook. “Argh" Annie notices the twins looking over her shoulder “stop being so nosy get out” she yells. One morning she woke up to find her notebook was gone “no no no” thought Annie this couldn’t be happening. Now Annie couldn’t compete in the art comp if she didn’t have any art to present. Annie absolutely couldn’t bear the thought of this she had made up her mind she was going to sneak out but to do this she would have to steal her dads credit card. She would have to be as sneaky as a fox. 

Running, down stairs with rage and courage Annie is lucky that her dad was cooking and new this was her chance she grabbed his thick leather wallet pulled the credit card out as she did this, she felt sweat run down her rosy cheeks she hid under the wavy table cloth when she was ready, she ran for the door she rushed outside to get to the bus station it was fairly old and dusty but still worth it she got on the bus. about halfway through the trip the bus stops it has a flat Tire. After this, Annie remembers something her mum would always tell her: “doing something wrong doesn't mean it's right.” Annie knows she was not doing the right thing. She starts to leave the bus when the engine makes a funny noise suddenly, she can hear fire crackling panic begins to run through Annie’s body flames curled around the bus like a snake ready to strike.  Annie runs for the hose it was her only hope to escape, her heart was pounding like a drum in a war march she turns the hose on at lightning speed knowing her life was on the line water spreads everywhere she sees black… 

Wakening up, Annie finds herself lying on the dusty black smelly bus “that did 'Ent go as planned,” muttered Annie blinking at the wreckage around her. She sprints like a cheetah back to her house knowing her dad will be as red as tomatoes. She takes her first step into the wooden cottage and the first thing she sees is her father. He can see the fear in her eyes and knows it must have been terrifying. He runs to Annie, oh no she thinks, but instead of yelling at her, he throws his arms around her. “Does this mean I’m not grounded” pleaded Annie optimistically. "This definitely means your grounded” chuckles her dad. ♥ 

Falcon AT HAWAIi  By Lachlan 

Beep! Beep! Beep! Went Falcons alarm clock Beep! Beep! Beep! “Uh stop stupid clock” shouted Falcon as he hit his alarm clock then he remembered something it was Mother’s Day he wanted to make shore his mom will have an amazing day so she wouldn’t think about his dad [his dad had recently died from skin cancer] he was determined to make this the best day of his mum’s life! 

“Mum! Mum! Mum! Get up its Mother’s Day! I made you breakfast also can I give you my presents now Please! Please! Please! Mum” “Ok! Ok! Ok! Falcon calm down’’ “Ok!!! I’ll get the presents you are going to love them Ok! Ok!” “Falcon Calm down” “Ok I will calm down I will get your breakfast and your present’s calmly OK!’’ 

“Mum do you want to open your presents now it’s been an hour don’t you want to see what I got you I promise you’ll love them mum please I’m begging you’’ “Fine I’ll open all the present s in a minute actually I’ll open them now let’s see I’ll open this one first oh! A watch oh a watch this reminds me of your dad I Really miss him now but this just shows me you Falcon have inherited his kindness thankyou I love it I am sorry I had to remind you of this terrible thing” “Come on let’s open the rest of your presents” 

“Mum I’m going to see my friends” “Ok” “Falcon is actually going to do something else. On his way to the mall falcon stops at eagle and bobs house to ask them a Favor can you give me 200$ each I am going to buy a ticket to Howie for me and my mum so she doesn’t think about my dad, ok anything for a friend thanks guys bye when Falcon arrived, he went straight to the plane ticket store Howie tickets 1000$ for 2 Ok I don’t care about the prices next Thursday it is here you go. And in the blink of an eye Falcon was gone when he got home, he showed his mum the tickets.  

 Next Thursday they were ready to go on the plane. On the plane falcon played Nintendo and mum watched a movie. It was a boring plane ride. When they got there the first thing, they wanted to do was to swim in the ocean so they did. When they were at the beach mum saw a stir in the water and something touching her feet then out of the water came… Falcon, they both started laughing then mum heard a another strange stir then looked back laughing but falcon was standing there, then she saw green scales poking out of the water then she felt a brush at her feet there was a shiver down her spine mums heart was pounding like the wind she said to Falcon get out of the water then they started swimming to shore as fast as the they could go then emerging from the water was a scaley figure they both stopped in their tracks keep swimming then at that moment jumping out of the water came something big and slimy then they realized it was a crocodile keep going mum screamed! Faster! Faster! Then the crocodile jumped out of the water at mum but mum got out just in time but I can’t say the same for Falcon then the croc jumped at Falcon hit his leg and smack bang in the middle it was broken Falcon couldn’t swim any more then Falcons mum had to jump in when she was swimming she remembered that she had a rubber band in her pocket so she put it around the crocodile’s mouth because when she was little she remembered a science lesson she had about crocodile’s there jaw muscle is really  week so if you put a rubber band around it’s jaw it can’t bite you mum started swimming faster when she got there Falcon had blood running down his leg he was screaming then the life guard came in with some weird dressed people then they realized they were crock catchers so they pulled the croc out of the water then they taped its mouth closed  then they shouted for mum but she was rely tired so she lied down on the warm soft sand so the croc catchers came to here to whimper thanks for your help not many people can think to do that in stressful moments also how did you now that mum replied and whispered I learnt it  in school when I was a kid in a science lesson but we got to get my son to hospital already done that he replied. After Falcons leg heeled, they went back to Melbourne. 

When they got back Falcon went straight to bed as soon as he lay down under the covers he fell asleep I suppose he was jetlagged mum whispered in a happy voice the next day Falcon woke up at 9:00am he was so energetic so he went to Bob and eagles house they were so happy to see him, it had been ages since there last encounter so they went straight to the ice cream shop to talk about what happened at Howie at the ice cream shop Falcon got two scoops and so did Bob and Eagle  Falcon got Mint chock chip and orange chock chip so did Eagle but Bob got cookies and cream and bubble gum then they talked about what happened Falcon told them the whole story but they didn’t believe him then he showed them the scar on his leg after that they went to falcons house to play video games they played FC 25 on falcons switch falcon but of course won it was 2-4 then they went to see falcons mum to ask her a question so they did the question was about the holiday it was all true everything Falcon had told them was true no lies at all they were amazed at what had happened to Falcon. 

The next day when Falcon woke up, he felt something different he went outside of his room there was no one there he went to his mum was not there “Beep, Beep” that was his mum’s alarm clock were was she he went to the table there was no one their but he smelt something thing and glanced back it was something delicious something amazing it was waffles “Surprise” a voice shouted he turned to were the voice was coming from it was  coming from something under the couch he went over to the couch and looked under it he saw a face then someone came out then he realized it was his mum she declared it was a thankyou party for all you have done for me Falcons hart lightened at those words thankyou too you mum well forget  about the thankyou’s and lets dig in to the food I made waffles let's do this rumble rumble what was that it was my tummy okay then we defiantly should start eating a guess so. After they had eaten mum wanted to take Falcon out for a treat, she wanted to take him out or ice cream but Falcon told her he had gone yesterday so mum suggested that they could go to the shop and she will get him something, so he wanted to get a Toblerone. As soon as they got back Falcon ...THE HOLE THING IN 15 MINUTES! Then Falcon was very tired, so he went Striate to bed. 

Poppy spot’s little puppy by Maria.G   

CRASH  “OMG why do you look like that you look awful” “I WENT TO THE DANDINONG RANGERS OK” “Poppy how could you I told you you’re not aloud to go until you are 16 you are grounded you are not aloud to go to Mia black’s birthday party” said  Mum. “But, but Mia will be spreading roomers about me all around the school” “well still you can’t go” are you just jealous that I can go and you can’t Poppy said. No I don’t want to go to your stupid friends birthday party they always end with a yuck so why would I ruin my day like always your stupid birthday party’s always suck said mum.  

This is Poppy spot a very aggressive and always stands up for her self and not let any body bully her everybody that the one and only poppy spot.  

 Then Poppy went and asked her dad  her dad said well you did go to the Dandenong Rangers with out our permission. Oh Mia  will be super mad said poppy. Poppy slammed the door and screamed she said but then I will be bullied at school. She screamed in her pillow and almost all the world could hear her .  

 The next day when she went to school  her friend saw her and Poppy was so scared that she started to tremble then when her friend fully saw her Mia went up to her and said “ why didn’t you go to my birthday party you promised me said Mia in an angry voice  poppy was so scared that she didn’t say anything  her friend said whatever since you are not going to answer me then i am going to spread roomers around the school  about you no, no don’t do that said Poppy but Mia had all ready did it then every body surrounded her and Poppy got petrified . the other children went and got the teacher and took her to first aid.  

The next day poppy was sad and then when she went home she was crying head to toe. Her mum said “oh honey what happened” “Mia found me and said why didn't you come to my birthday party and then she started saying rumors about me all around the school”. “OK now I guess I haft to tell you now me and your dad got a puppy for you” said mum “OMG no you didn’t I can’t believe it you made my dream come true where is it were, were are we going to pick it up now” yelled poppy excitedly  ring, ring  went mum’s phone “Hello poppy’s mum here how can I help oh sorry I mean hi how is your day today” said mum “ Hello I am Cherie Tulk the person who owns your dog and your dog is ready at the airport ok great we are coming we will be there in 10 minutes great” are we going please, please” said poppy “YES WE ARE PACK  YOUR STUFF AND OF WE GO OH AND TAKE THE PUPPIES STUFF” yelled mum.  

 then they drove to the Melbourne airport and got the puppy they named it Poppy junior it had grey spots brown spots black spots but underneath he was chocolate brown “OH MY GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD SHE IS ADORABLE” said poppy senior.  

When they got in the car Poppy junior was bananas Poppy senior got so scared that she started crying.  When they got home poppy junior was so , so tiered that she slept for 7 hours while poppy junior was sleeping Poppy senior was super bored that she slept next to Poppy junior although Poppy senior had a ton of Homework her mum said” Poppy senior you have a ton of Homework  to do you can’t snooze for 7 hours but then mum noticed that Poppy had al ready dozed off.  

When Poppy junior woke up, they played all day the next day they got some cloths for Poppy junior one of them said DOGGONGOURGES and a green one and Poppy juniors favorite a Prinses dress which she looked adorable in. The next day Poppy senior woke up and saw that poppy junior pooped on her bed mum was so angry that she gave Poppy junior a bang on her bum but then Poppy junior started crying her fluff out Poppy senior calmed her down then Poppy  junior slept happily ever after.

BEEP BEEP BEEP!  “Stupid alarm clock” I say to myself. “James! Breakfast is ready” my aunt calls from downstairs. I get out of bed exhausted, as I walk down the long stairs. My uncle walks in the room everyone sighs and murmurs awkwardly, “hi uncle seir” “WHAT IS UP FAMILY” yells uncle my aunt scolds him “STOP BEING SO LOUD IT’S HALF PAST EIGHT YOU’RE GOING TO WAKE UP THE WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD!” “Half past WHAT NOW!” I yell “half past eight” my mum is confused “OH NO IM LATE FOR THE BUS!” I rush upstairs and faceplant right into my door “COME ON the one time I actually close it behind me the door betrays me” “careful James” my mum says. “HAHA” says my annoying little sister Eadie “ugh be quiet” I say. I grab the handle and tug the door open. I rush to my cupboard and grab my clothes from the drawer. I quickly put them on, I rush downstairs to put my shoes on then grab my bag and leap out the front door as I see the bus turning in my direction. 

 But I was still too late. I missed the bus but here’s something you don’t know about me I don’t give up that easily and run as fast as I can over to the bus. I see a red light, now I was right next to the bus the red light suddenly changes to a green light the bus started to move I bang on the side of it and repeatedly scream “STOP THE BUS STOP THE BUS!” I saw my friend Taylor yelling at the bus driver about something, then suddenly the bus stopped and the doors opened. 

I walked over to the door and slowly stepped onto the bus. Taylor says “take a seat” as I walk over to her, I sit down and felt my legs they were aching I could barely feel them the bus stops at the school. Everyone walks out one by one into the front area 

 I rush into class hoping I wasn’t late I yell “IM HERE!” Everyone chuckles and then awkwardly stares at me. I take a seat and listen to the Mrs. Robertson she announces “ok class today we are going on an excursion to a science research facility” then I feel something glaring in my eye it was Spine maverick I put my hand up to block the light then Mrs. Robertson notices me and says “James do you have a question” “no” I reply spine chuckles with his friends. We all walk out of the classroom and line up single file in front of the door. We wait for Mrs. Robertson to come to the front of the line. We walk to the front area of the school and line up in the bus’s door. Mrs. Robertson announces “everyone go in one by one in the door and say thank you to Fred” if you didn't know Fred is our bus driver whenever I walk in the bus he doesn't look happy with me when he sees me but I'm sure he isn't mad, at least I hope not. 

We walk in the door and all murmur “thank you Fred” we take a seat with some people pushing to sit in the back I don't why people like that spot so much its weird probably so they don't get noticed by the teacher but because we were at the front of the line we got to sit in the back. I got weirded out by Spine because he stared at me for a good five seconds then and yelled “move over PUNK” the teacher saw this and screamed at him “SPINE DON’T YELL IN HERE!” Spine smirked and shoved me. Then he had to sit up the front with Mrs. Robertson. Ted whispered to me “just ignore him he's being a loser” we both chuckled oh I forgot to introduce you to Ted, Ted is my best friend besides Taylor we have been friends since we were three now were fifteen. Ted and I love video games sometimes he sneaks over to my house to play together my aunt doesn't mind. We both get mad easily and my aunt gets mad for yelling and cuts the power and sometimes even cuts the electricity. I wish I could just produce electricity sometimes anyways enough about Ted. We all talk quietly for a little while and some even fall asleep which I find pretty impressive because its only a ten minute drive. 

 when we got there it was already really cool the mascot Worldo was massive he towered over the building it looked like it would fall through the ceiling at any moment some people were really scared to go in but Mrs. Robertson told everyone that it would be ok. So we all went in with no fuss and saw a lady standing right there in front of us it was kind of creepy because it looked like she was standing there for hours which she probably was cause she looked tired and when I mean tired I MEAN TIRED she had bags under her eyes and just looked suspicious. 

 Anyway, we walk into the building and my mind was BLOWN there was so much cool stuff there were drones and I even saw HOVER BOARDS everyone was blown away first we looked at the electricity section which was filled with different types of lightning and electricity I kept on wondering how they were contained we moved onto the light section next but I was so focused on the lightning that I forgot something MY CLASS! I checked everywhere for them but they were out of sight all I remember Mrs. Robertson saying was “ok class we are going to a light section now” I saw a cool door that looked like a light room but it wasn't a light room it said on the door STAFF ONLY but I was so scared that I didn’t notice.  

I found myself in a mysterious room it looked like a power room suddenly there was a lock, but I was too scared to scream, I crept through the long mysterious hallway and saw a giant glowing cord it looked like it powered the place it had a lot of small cords connecting to it like a tree. with other cords branching out to the roof it looked so futuristic like alien technology. I wanted to get a closer look, so I ran over to it but I tripped on one of the cords and tumbled onto my head. I was on the floor I got up and walked over to the cord I had a good look at it then I saw it rumbling the electricity was flaring and spiting, but it wasn't big enough to harm me it got more and more aggressive. I saw a big piece of electricity running through a vine to get to the cord. It got really really really aggressive then suddenly it jumped out at me and ‘BOOM...’ I woke up on the floor. The room was in wreckage the roof was falling apart it was barely holding up. I don’t know how long I was asleep for but all I knew was that I had to get out of there quick before the roof fell on me I tried to get up but I was to weak I just kept on falling back down “ARGH!” I yelled in pain trying to get up. I was in a lot of pain, but I finally got up. I limped through the room to get to the long hallway and got to the door to try and open it. I put my hand on the handle and tugged as hard as I could It didn’t work I tried and tried and tried until ‘BANG!’ The door blasted open; I had no idea what had just happened. The only thing I knew was that I could do things nobody else could... 

 I peeked out the door, it was safe I stepped out of the room everything was dark, my body started flaring I suddenly grew an aura of electricity it got very fast and aggressive my body started charging up ‘BOOM!’ I don’t know what happened, I look at my body “WOAH!” It looked like I had a suit on not tuxedo suit a super-suit, “BANG!” I heard something it sounded like it was coming from the main area I went over to investigate; I walked stealthily over I crept into a little crack. I peeked through a window and saw something crazy “gasp” there was a man on fire flying around the room he looked like he was stealing so I had to try and stop him. I got out of hiding and was in the entrance. He had his eyes right on me “WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU STEALING!” “WHY ARE YOU HERE AT THIS TIME OF NIGHT” “I don't know but you should leave if you want me out we can go the easy way or the hard way.” “a challenger I see come up here and ill knock some sense into you boy” I leap up at him and lunge my fist into his face but he grabs my fist and throws me back into the floor. “COME DOWN HERE AND FIGHT LIKE A MAN!” He crashes down on top of me and I fall on the floor again. He's right on top of me. I threw a punch and he gets knocked right the floor. I jump up and get on my feet. He jumps back and rushes towards me. I dodge and kick him right in the stomach. He’s on the floor and I put my hand on his chest so he can’t get up. Then something came out of my hand, it was like a net. He was stuck on the floor. I got my phone out and called the police “hello what is your emergency.” “I caught a guy stealing at the science research facility” “we are coming to you now” “where is he” “he’s right here” “wow who are you” “call me Electro” thank you Electro.” I walk out of the building with the police officer and wonder how I will get home “I want to see if I can fly” I get on the road and jump ‘shew!’ I close my eyes and hope I was flying I slowly open them and “WOOOOOOHOOOO!” “IT WORKED IT WORKED!” “YES!” I soared through the air and through the city. I got to my street and landed perfectly. “No damage at all” I tried to de-transform and in a blink of an eye boom no more suit I try to put it on again and boom on again I de-transform and walk through the front door I see my aunt on the kitchen table calling the police with tears running down her cheek. She looks up and stares at me gets of the seat and rushes over to me she hugs me as tight as she can. “Are you ok James” “yes” I reply “don’t ever do that again” “I won’t I promise...”

Mr. Invincible Man 

In Darwin Northern Territory, Mr. Invincible Man is the second ranked superhero in the world, he can lift a car with his little finger and spin it around effortlessly. He has x-ray vision goggles. 

 When he was younger, he went to work with his father and ate something from the canteen that had 1 drop of radioactivity. That single radioactive drop, something about it changed him forever. He never understood why, only that it made him different. The number 1 superhero is Aluminio Dude. He has a special suit that helps him fly but he does not have superstrength or x-ray vision goggles. 

“Darn it day 363 of not being able to fly,” Mr. Invincible Man can’t fly yet because he must prove himself worthy. 

The Kremlins are a group of supervillains that met in high school. They live amongst the humans. The Kremlin’s constantly break laws like speeding, running red lights and even biting stuff just to put it back. Mr. Invincible Man is getting complaints. 

The kremlin’s start doing worse things because Mr. Invincible Man is visiting family in another city. The Kremlins started hijacking cars and burning buildings. The Kremlins have made the problem enormous like killing animals and abusing humans. Out of nowhere Mr. Invincible Man sees the kremlin's hijacking cars and trucks so he knows what he has to do. Something shifts inside him a surge of power, a realization. He clenches his fists. Could it be? Could he finally fly? “Sirens wail in the distance. Smoke rises from burning buildings. Mr. Invincible Man narrows his eyes Kremlins. This time they have gone too far”. KA-BOOM Mr. invincible man crashes against the ground unleashing his superstrength and blasts them out into the oblivion. 

 For 363 days, he had waited-trained-dreamed. Now, the moment had arrived. He clenched his fists. He had to win. He had to fly. As the dust settled, Mr. Invincible Man looked up at the sky, finally soaring. The battle was won. And for the first time, he was number one. Mr. Invincible Man felt so joyful after the war with The Kremlins.

The Radioactive Incident 

SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS (sizzling) “uhhh” (sigh) “which button do I press!” I keep smacking the table. “Finally.” He finds the button and the blue flame of fire comes on. Scott is making breakfast for Mother’s Day. Scott is just a normal kid. He goes to school and does his homework. He is a nice, thoughtful, and friendly person. It is also his birthday soon on the amazing 15th of May. Scott has a dog (Holly), a dad (Peter) and a mum (Miranda), Holly, does athletic training with Scott, Mom loves gardening, and dad does work all day. Scott is the only child. Scott is too busy playing Fortnite (video game), he forgets about breakfast. Oh well, that’s Mother’s Day breakfast gone wrong “oh I just got distracted maybe I can try again.” Scott explains. When Scott tries again, he realizes he ran out of eggs to cook the omelets. When mum finds out, she is cool as cool as a cucumber. Mum says, “it’s okay I can make my own breakfast.” Scott's face turns as red as the back of a red back spider. 

After that, for Scott’s birthday he asks for a big, sharp knife, because when he cooked his omelets, he found out that the knife was not that sharp. “WHAT?!” Questions mum, “you don’t even know how to cook and don’t like cooking, and it is so expensive.” “Uh, mum Cooking might be my specialty.” Mum hesitates “okay, but you must earn it, for a week you must cook dinner perfectly if you mess up one then you are not getting it. Otherwise, you can get it.” Scott feels as confident as a gorilla, but mum felt the opposite way. 

At night, Scott cooks dinner. His first dish was steak. He had to season and cook medium rear. First, he must cut his steak. He is unexpectedly excellent at cutting so superb that he wants to go faster, so he goes ahead cut, cut, cut, uh oh… 

“What was that, a paper cut? No, I do not think so it is a bit sharper.” Questions Scott. Scott looked down, “oh no” has a large droplet of blood dripping down his arm! “HELP, HELP! His mum notices and takes him to the emergency room in the hospital where there is such an extensive line. Scott is shaking and has butterflies in his tummy. As Scott is waiting, he gets to play games on his mum’s phone, but he cannot because his finger is hurting, he cannot shoot. After that he stops playing, he sees a black shadow in front of it is something, it is as black as a witch’s cauldron Scotts heart pounded “oh my god MUM! It is a radioactive spider.” Or was it? 

Finally, Scott’s name has been called. First, the doctor asked some questions such as how it happened and how it hurts. Then the doctor examines it, she explains “sorry it’s been infected by a radioactive spider I’m afraid that if you touch something that is gold then you will die…” “what no more gold "here are lots of things that are gold such as coins real gold and maybe cars. “bbbut I wanted to drive a gold car and how am I going to live because I can't touch coins🙁.” 

When Scott got home, he had a tear dropping down his face because when he was older, he needed to touch coins to pay for things. The next day Scott goes shopping with his dad to buy a present for Mother's Day (dad does not know about the disease and Scott is so silly he forgot about it). Scott must use his own pocket money, so he is about to get a coin!... 

Scott is at the counter secretly trying to sneak a coin. At that moment Holly was begging for food when he saw Scott about to get a coin, Holly wanted to scratch Scott’s hand, so he did not get it. Holly steps back, ready for a gigantic leap. Then he remembers all the time Scott trained him, he leaps… CRRRRRRRR! Holly claws scratched Scott, not only that, but also teared the dead skin covering the radioactive liquid, so now it is revealing the shiny, radioactive liquid. Scott was mind blowed when Holly made such a heroic leap. “OW! Why did you do that? Yelled and sobbed Scott. 

After that Scott had a light bolt on top of his head “mum I wonder if we can go to the doctors, then ask them to suck it up” “okay but if it doesn’t work you have to pay me back” “okay” when they went to the doctor successfully sucked up the liquid, now they will study it Scott was thinking maybe this will be a new scary disease?

In The Air Gone Wrong

A tiny drop of liquid formed in Alexa’s eye before drizzling down her cheek. Her BFF was moving to London! “Ivy, why are you leaving me?” questioned Alexa in strife. Ivy tried reasoning with her but it was no use, Alexa didn’t want her to go even if Ivy went for a year and texted her everyday despite the different time zones. 

 In the middle of her trip, Ivy’s besties facetimed her in some of her favourite places back in Sydney and made her realize how much she missed her friends. So, she hopped on the first plane back although the pilot was flying a plane first time with passengers. 

 “Sydney, here I come!” shouted Ivy in the airport suddenly embarrassed. she was about to go to her gate when, her flight number got called on the PA system, Ivy’s flight was delayed 5 hours! 

In the gate she glances at the flight attendants and pilots, one of them breathing heavily and sweating. “He must be the first-time pilot, great he looks more nervous than I thought he’d be.” Ivy mumbles quietly under her breath.  

When she boards the plane, Ivy instantly feels worse. She can’t take her mind off a new pilot on a long-haul flight. The plane takes off, smooth sailing until bump! Her head hits the seat in front of her. “Probably just turbulence” the man next to Ivy mutters queasily like someone under anesthetic waking up. A contagious gas came out of his mouth. Must be sick, Ivy pondered.  

The plane nose dives towards the ground, people were falling out of their seats! Ivy knew she had to do something, so she tried her best to move to the cockpit. Ivy could hear screams, time was running out! Luckily when she was 12 Ivy got a chance to go in the cockpit on a flight to Brazil, so she had all the buttons mapped out in her head. All she had to do was hit the parachute button but it was a new plane, so it was even harder to find! When Ivy found it and she punched it, it didn’t work! Ivy was in catastrophic trouble, actually the whole plane was. She jogged out of the cockpit and into the aisles and everyone had passed out because the masks didn’t drop down. At least the plane's nose protector came on for a soft landing. 

The plane crashed into a paddock in South Australia. When the plane had stopped rolling and yanking grass out of the ground, the people who owned the paddock came out. Ivy tried to unlatch the door, but the little latch had gone missing, so she had to go out the right-wing emergency door with the woman who lived there helping her. 

Not long after people started waking up. Traffic control from South Australia came since the airport is only an hour and a half away, plus they have helicopters and tiny planes. They offered Ivy a ride back to Sydney and traffic control helped Ivy find her bags in the hold. Ivy was on the news because she tried to save the plane even though the plane crashed no one got severely injured or died during the incident. 

 As soon as she got home and rang the doorbell Ivy’s siblings and her parents rushed all at once, they all kept asking ‘are you okay?’ while the only thing Ivy wanted to do was see her friends. She called them to ask if they could hit up in the park before grabbing bubble tea.  

The next day Ivy went back to school and everyone wanted the whole story of what happened. She felt like a hero, a star even the teachers treated her like a princess indefinitely Ivy was part of the royal family, but she was a duchess, her mother being the princess and Ivy’s grandmother was the queen.  

On the way home everyone stopped and stared even the postman! Ivy’s phone was blowing up with texts and voicemails of random people all because of the accident. At the door, her puppy was howling, “Why isn’t anyone home” questioned Ivy, realizing she asked it aloud. She opened the door and everyone yelled SUPRISE! Ivy got startled and fell from her feet onto the couch. “Thank you so much for everything, from the party to the cake, thank you everybody” Ivy gasped contentedly. She was so amazed, Ivy did not think that people cared about her so much.

 So, there was this cat called Jam. Jam is a ginger cat and is a bit forgetful. Jam was about to go out for recess, but his teacher stopped him because he forgot to do his homework.” What homework? "Asked Jam. All he could think of was his donuts from his party yesterday then he remembered the homework he was supposed to do in the morning he sighed and sat down. 

30 minutes later Jam was only halfway through his homework. Then the bell went, and Jam hadn't eaten anything for the whole recess! Jam put his homework away and did his schoolwork for as long as he could, but he was too hungry to think straight and well how do I put this he kind of went a bit bananas. When he realized what he did it was too late, his teacher had already sent him to the principal's office. The school decided that Jam was too much of a threat to the other kids and expelled him. And told his parents. 

When Jam got home his parents grounded him for 1 year and he wasn't allowed to leave his room. 

1day later while his parents were shopping at the mall, he crept past his bed and out the window then he stupidly went to the mall to meet his friends but when he got there, he remembered his parents were there if he got caught his parents would Shawly kill him so Jam crept very slowly to the corner and stuck his head around the corner and there was his parents he quickly snapped back hopping they didn't see him. 

 He got to the arcade just in time for the party, but his parents were in the shop next to him. Luckly, they didn’t see him for now.

Box. ‘Jess quit ‘! Drella screamed. What have you got there? Pia? Pia! Pia, you said you won’t come, she said confused here I am happy b day. Drella has ten siblings. Her favorite is pia (oldest) Jess is the most annoying youngest of cores. The family loves birthday and despises a day doing nothing.” Happy birthday to you. “Why do I have to sing this” moaned Jess. drella is not a fan of family activities. “Jack, jess gena come down stars” drella mumbles. Jack is the oldest brother, he's rather loud and acts like a beastly bear. He is strict around most people but with family he treats us like a million air. 

Drella is an energetic girl who likes shopping and spends ninety point nine % of her time with her friends. She is always willing to do something dangerous so dangerous that you can't watch. Once this happened, it started happening. Drella but this only happens with no super vision. Boom, music bursts out of the speakers giving Drella a fright. People screamed that Drella had never been bowling, especially at midnight for adults. She scrunched her nose looking at a weird dancer. 

In the past things have not gone so well like holidays. Her family is British her mum was raced in a vast house in a grassland. It was always Drella’s dream to go to London. “Really Jess, you got me nothing “Drella shouted. Her face got all puffy and red, tiring not to scream.  

1 month later 

 Drella lay on her bed. She hadn’t gone any were nether has her family since her birthday. The family flipped things were different but if you lived with this family, you wouldn’t know a thing changed a thing. “Jess, do you want to go shopping for your birthday” mum shouted.” Yep “Jess replied. Drella was now left at home with gena what they didn't know is that were Surprise jess with a trip to China. 

 She kicked her legs “hey gena they have been out for a long time "she whispered. She doodled in her notebook. stanning on the page was a rather large dog with tall legs and eyes that remind you of a dead spider.   

1 week later  

Drella lay in her bed as she saw a mesa from her mum were stuck in China hospital” noooo”drella screamed her and gena are left alone with no food left in the frig and no money they were left to starve. They race to a local free food give away but five hungry family’s rase as well. They wait for them to get they know they have propyl been starving.one kind girl offers them some food drella kindly smiles and whispered” no thank you ““why” the little girl said. Drella thinks she glances at her torn dress and her dreaded jeans. Hesitating to speak, she said, "you need more. to hide why she was there in the first place. Later on, she goes back to the stand feeling greedy, she only takes one bag of apples hoping she has some money. She sags off thinking. “One bag of apples” gena shouts .drella runs to her room pleading everything is ok …        

 Gena was a cook, one of the best in the family infract so great that her walls are jam packed with trophies and medals of all kinds. Gena struggles to not cook for a while but with a speck of food left she knew no cooking for her. On the weekend like this drella and her family would go places trying to fit but most of the times people comment about are big family some are flattering some the opposite. Della always gets all the glory from the comments. This weekend is just lounging around hoping for the best.     

 One month later her parents came back, her hands trembled, and she grabbed one of the bags they had brought. She stuck her hand in the box and got to Appels. Her mouth closed chewing the apple eyes closed.  

 “Jess come downstairs mum smiled and at her mesmerized face and yelped to the whole family “were going to miny golf” her face lit up “jess you have dance” drella barked in an attitude .Happy days drella danced. The miny golf court was filed with families of all sorts drella took a deep breath and wacked the ball. With a family of ten it takes about ten minutes to move on to the place. Drella with a grin on her face she thort about Jess and how mean Jess has been so mean she misses a holiday.  

 Jess has always been grateful but this was not a memory to be grateful for. Although they did so many cool things alone, she still thinks her parents and family should be with her to have fun. 

“Drella you won” mum shouted yes drella always loves wining as you could probly  predict she walked out with a smile on her face the car ride home was very coaddict but drella still did not fell right there was nothing like a great car ride home and apparently this is ideal for this family.  

That was the family's warning to never forget her. running towards her room, being the cheeky girl, she was. That afternoon she closed her eyes and drella was the happiest girl.

 The War You'll Never Forget  

A giant white crack falls out of the sky as drops of liquid fall from the clouds. The elves hear boots thumping on the ground. “Gather weapons”! “Get all the guards”! “The goblins are coming”! A guard screams, pacing through the hall. Willow hears the guard and comes out with her bow and arrow. “We need to flee our people but keep most guards”. The king screams in complete panic. Willow leads her people out of the village as she sees young and old men including her love (Alfie) fight, as she begins an unwanted journey to the other people of the land. 

 The armed men hear the strutting of the boots getting closer and closer. The first sight of goblins felt like terror. Their awful yellow teeth, their pale and wrinkly skin left everyone disgusted.  

Meanwhile Willow and the rest of the village had fled deep into the roots of the colossal trees still hearing the echoes of deathly screams beyond their reach. Willow was hiding in the roots scared, but she wasn’t going to let her people down. Slowly the afternoon turned dark. The darkness bled into light. As they set off towards The Kingdom of Arrendale. As they got closer to the river, they heard the dreadful noise of the boots again then it stopped, one arrow shot then two then three then six then ten.  

“Get down to the river” one of the villagers yelled at the top of his lungs. STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! With their feet so sore they pushed on bolting to the river, stumbling into the rafts; they weren’t safe yet.  

They paddled and paddled until they found Arrendale. “Find the king and tell him about the goblins”. The other villages hear and panic crawling all over the place to find anything that will defend them. 

 Up at the top of the hill where the rather expensive looking palace sits. The soldiers from Elfdom had arrived here not too long ago because they needed more weapons and people to fight.  

 “The goblins are taking the long way around the river”. The king (Marlin) assumed. “I have been watching this war the whole time. 

 “There are some bunks for you downstairs”. The butler stated in a rather posh accent. A dreadful night, it was as dark as black ink. Thinking about their old village, they tried to get to sleep on beds as cold as ice burgs. Restless, the solders couldn't stop thinking about the goblins.  

One day passed then two then three. On the third one a faint scream of “goblins their back.... again”. There were sighs and screams, both not ones you'd want to hear. 

 Metal and steel both meeting face to face in an unlikely event. 

 Sitting there, watching all the commotion running back and forth in front of her, Willow was desperate to think of a way to help her people. 

Whispers more like rumors spread around like fire. Not to the goblins but to the people. The plan had become reality.  

“Go to the river at fifteen minutes past one and make sure everyone is behind the trees”. Troubled, Willow whispered into Alfie's ear. 

Gripping her bow, Willow made her way up to the mountains. Bashing against the door, Willow waited restless at the colossal, grey door. 

 “Who goes by the great dwarves cave”? Demanded the great old dwarf. “It’s me, Willow. she said impatiently. SCREECH! Oh, what a dreadful noise. She had thought. It was from the one hundred-thousand-year-old door. 

“You may enter”. Soon silence fell across the forest, then something broke it. Willow recognized the scream, it was Alfie, Alfie’s scream. He never screams. Willow thought in an unusual way. “So, what do you need”. Boomed the dwarf. "A boulder, a boulder big enough to flatten all the goblins and to save my people". Willow said fearfully.  

“Dwarves, we need a boulder to roll down the hill. Stop what you are doing, we need everyone”. Boomed the great dwarf. Crack! Bash!  

The boulder knocked down one of the trees and. “NOOOOOOOOOOOO”. Cried Willow running after, an arrow shot Alfie. He lay there unconscious. Drops one at a time came streaming down her face as she laid her head on his chest. Twing! Twing! An arrow shot hurdling towards Willow but missed her and hit Alfie. Again, Willows's heart sank to the ground. Goblins came running up the hill towards her, but luckily dwarves all of them came rushing to the goblins. 

 “HA HA HA”! You thought you could get that plan behind me. Marlin screeched unmasking himself. “So, you were behind this the whole time”. Willow picked herself up and her body filled with anger. “So, it was you, you're the one who killed him”. Willow cried pointing at Alfie. “Well, I shot an arrow at him”. Marlin said smugly. Nothing fell out of Willows' mouth except anger. “ 

 He’s an evil goblin wait that means the army is his. She thought as she pulled a sword out of her holster slowly and silently. Marlin pulled his out too. Sparks flew everywhere and the noise attracted everyone else. Sharp eyes were staring at them it felt like no one was blinking.  

“AAAHHH!”. Screeched Marlin. Blood spilled everywhere as Marlin fell to the ground, and a smile crept up towards the sides of Willows' mouth. She sliced a hole right through him. 

On the journey home Willow looked back like she was forgetting something, then she saw a goblin pick something up. It was dead and looked like Alfie. She assumed it was just a dead goblin. Willow ran back to the people and just one tear leaked. It was a happy tear, but another one fell sadly for Alfie. 

What was that goblin holding? Well at least the war is over, or is it?

This is Bob. Bob does not have that many friends. He is trying to make some friends, but it is hard for Bob to make some friends. One day Bob met Rob. Rob is his only friend in the world. He is a good friend of Bob. 

 It was a gloomy dark rainy day at school and Rob and Bob were playing dominos. Bob sked Rob” why are you acting weird? You are not talking much?” Bob” I am tired OK!” 

 Sometimes school can be like a dark gloomy box it is sometimes hard for bob to learn he is not bad at math and Other stuff he just needs to improve on some stuff that is all. 

 in recess he is eating with rob still rob is STILL acting weird Bob thinks it is him being a bad friend little did he know so thing bad is goanna happen… The next day bob hadn’t seen Rob. He was here yesterday but not today Rob is missing. Bob does not know where rob is. He had looked every single place in the school bells went, and Bob could not find Rob. He sprinted to his calls in a flash 

 The next day Rob is still not here Bob does not know where he is. Bob gets worried he checks Robs house but doesn’t find him. Then Robs mum steps outside, letting a heavy sigh…  

Hi Bob If you are looking for Bob, he is in the hospital and he has hit his head stupidly ridiculously and in the dumbest way hard. Bob runs as quickly as a flash while his heart is pounding like a might Siver back gorilla. He finds Rob and says to him “Hello. Rob? Rob, I...  thought that I was being a bad friend to you... 

 Robs eye slowly opened. Uh...? Bob, you are here! Why did you not tell me I forgot to tell you sorry I did not what to upset you thinking that I do not like you my best friend and that will never change we will always be friends ok. The legends of Daisy 

Skeleton flies over the town shooting balls of fire “hide the princess” yells the Gard. maya is hiding in the pales and fairy’s scudder except for one holly the bravest fairy of all.  Daisy the one and only knight struggles to protect princess maya.  

skeleton was an enemy to every kingdom all she wants to do is to take over in the city of Landy brag and get rid of the role family and take the fairy’s magic.  

Earlier in skeletons lair “I have a plan” says skeleton “I don’t like your plans” mound Robby. “no” yells skeleton. I will tell you the plan right now. step 1 takes all their wheat so they must go to a different kingdom to get more Robby mummers this plan is stupid, but skeleton never paid attention to Robby, so she did not hear.

 daisy whispers are” you ok skeleton has gone” I’m ok cries maya as the Dorr creeks open. fairies are screaming their heads off. Daisy escorts maya out of the pales holly steps in and shouts the fairies have no wheat we can't grow are plant we are all growing to die. Calm down, yells daisy looking worried. maya steps outside in horra all the plants were flaming red and hot they could smell smoke daisy knows wat to do “we must go to the kingdom of flowers to get more”. but then we will have to pass skeletons lair holly exams I will come to crise maya well we better get a good night sleep.         

Back at skeleton lair “we shall kid nap holly " skeleton Robby looks away with sorrow in his eyes, but she is a fairy, and I like fairy's a lot I don’t care. She knows her way to everywhere with no holy no directions, so they get lost and that is only part 1. so, they do it skeleton so their step in their car and let's go kid nap holy.as holly is heeding to hear house she stops face red skeleton picks her up holly tries to get down and skeleton heads home holly is thrown in a cage she starts to cry  

 She is now stuck in a crusty dirt cage when she bangs on the wall dirt falls from the roof the air smells rotten but princes maya and daisy are now lost, then a stroke of light   and skeleton apars maya tries to run but it is too late maya is gown. as daisy declares that this is war. Back at Holy's cage “let me out of here” she cries. holly pulls all her magic glitter spins she starts to feel strong her hands light up a gold glittery portal and teleports back 

 2 weeks later Daisy is ready to fight Holly is beside her.  they make the way to the muddy grassy battel field she stans tall but you can see the fere in her eyes Infront of skeleton as she swings here  silver sharp sord  silence is spread across the field   skeleton calipees her ragged breath fills the air she  whispers  softie I will come and kill you  soon Robby runs in Fear  he knows he is nothing without skeleton .skeleton  upon here def she drops a key it is a bit rusty but amenity daisy knows what it is and what  it opens . she runs to skeletons lair and opens the lock massif Donges’s cages and frees maya as they head back to the kingdom cheers are everywhere she is the best knight ever      and daisy know she is fearless     and had saved the princess

56 million years ago there lived an avocado called Ava the avocado she had no friends with. So, she went out her village called Avo dip Ava yells “I am going to find a friend” she welled with a high-pitched voice. Her parents were scared that she would get eaten because they were living in a fridge. Ava left the fridge in a gloom she asked herself “will I make it home” she packed her bag so she would be able to last for weeks. She left the fridge and all of a sudden it was quiet. Ava walked through the melted marshmallow finally she saw a sleeping pizza, Ava creped throw but she stepped on a stick, CRUNCH! The beast woke up with a shock BOOM. Hou dears entered my house. “Will I just want a friend” says Ava. Well, why do you need to intrude on my nap pizza says verry suspiciously well if you go down the waterfall you will see fruit land. Okay I will go down their thanks’ pizza. I appreciate your welcome.      

Chapter 2 

Wow! I see a northern Avocado I will great him to me. Hi, the other Avocado Is confused so the brings the grades of Fruit world they were nacho and burritos face became tomato red. Then fell to the floor Avocado sprinted throw the bests with joy from getting theme. Then she went past the Avo falls and she was confused “why is there a waterfall when I am in it. “HOU DEARS ENTER MY PEACE VILLAG!” boomed Jim “Oh, sorry Mr. "drops of sweat come from the sky a little kid runs up and asked him “is the little drops gods sweat” the grandad who was called Joe, was helping Ava find a friend. (One week later) a world of sticky mooshy things came down. “What’s that” Ava confused looking “radioactive” explained Joe. What happens if you go in it well no down noes, they creep in to the new world “hi I am radio” the mysterious creetur appears, it is radioactive “hey can I be your friend” replied what is your name” Ava answer “can I be your friend” Ava excitedly replies “okay” radioactive extatically. The Tale of the Haunted House and the Ghost Army – Angus W 

“Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!” Yelled Bob!  

“Hmmm where am I? Wait, isn’t this my home?” He tiptoed around the house, exploring his surroundings. There was a crack in the ceiling. Bob gasped! When he looked down, there was Bob’s leg. 

Bob realized… He had become a ghost! He was hovering above his old human leg. Suddenly Bob yelled “I will destroy anyone who sets foot in this house and make them part of my ghost army!” 

Ghosts cannot leave the property because there is an invisible barrier stopping them from getting out. But they can go in the back and front yards if they want to. 

“This is just a myth, but Bob was wealthy and got the best workers to hang a fancy chandelier from his high ceiling, which felled on top of him, and he died on the property, but nobody ever founded his body… It is probably not true,” two mischievous kids, looking for trouble, discussed as they ran up to the house. 

“I dare you to go in it” the other demanded, not knowing that it would be the end for his friend. He hears his friend scream. He went into the house to find his friend. He finds his friend dead; he thought that his friend was pranking him. Then he also died. With blood splatted everywhere like a splatoon game. The next day, a real estate agent travelled to the house to put up a ‘for sale’ sign. This was perfect for Bob, another chance to add to his ghost army.  

CHAPTER 2 

Before he knew it, the real estate agent had also turned into a ghost. Meanwhile Rob, the friendly ghost, noticed more ghosts appearing and was becoming suspicious, and decided to confront Bob. 

Bob went to his ghost dog to cuddle him because . Rob took advantage of this and became the ‘despicable guy.’ Little did Bob know, but secretly, Rob had humans who had designed a ghost-catching machine, which took him away. 

“Ha, Bob, I bet you didn’t realize it was me who dropped the chandelier on you in the first place,” roared Rob. 

“You were one of my two suspects,” shouted Bob, as he got sucked into the box.

In the green leafy forests of Albania, a spirit was standing on a cliff, as tall as a skyscraper in the city. Viewing down on the forest below, speaking with a strong voice, “I have always wanted a large place for myself, but this is not enough " he yelled, so he made his choice, and in a swift move soft as the wind he started to hover above the clouds and away into the distance, going somewhere. 

The next morning, an eleven-year-old boy named Jack was doing his normal morning routine, unaware about the fate that awaits soon,“Time for breakfast’! Called Jack’s mum in her normal happy emotion, ‘coming’! Yelled Jack in an enthusiastic voice, meanwhile in the city, things were going wrong, the Dark spirit appeared with black dust floating around him, people were screaming and terrifically sprinting and hiding from danger, it was more like watching a movie than morning news.  

Jack was at home and the TV news reporter told everyone in a scared mumble that there was a so-called ‘Ghost’ in the city, but Jack knew it was the dark spirit, it was the same spirit that came forty- two years ago that caused permanent damage to California, U.S.A .  

After a while he Quickly got dressed and got his dad’s ancient map then sprinted to the station, accelerating to his highest speed. Then rode the train to Albania to get an enchanted crystal, After he went to the side of the forest he could see trees, Green as the grass.And he read aloud: “Vogel di animale” then an old temple appeared, in everyone's view, then sprinted to the entrance, greeted by the welcoming warmth.  

he quickly stepped on the freezing stone floor, Click!  arrows shot from the walls luckily, he dodged and outran the arrows shooting at him, but then he fell in another trap! He went down the trap but with his quick reactions, he got up and stood brave as a bear, then he was face to face with the crystal he really wanted to get a closer look at it, but he knew he had to be quick, suddenly the temple started to shatter.  

  He quickly got the crystal and fled to the station, on the way he found a gleaming metal sword and without a word he quickly continued to sprint back to the station, He quickly boarded an incoming train into the city ready to fight. He first used the crystal to turn his ordinary metal sword into a rare enchanted one and his sword seemed to glimmer like a diamond, then he tried to use the power of the crystal to defeat the spirit. But it wasn't easy first he got shot by an arrow but that did not stop him, just then Jack was hit by a curse it felt like having a sword plunged into his arm “he is using the Cruciadis curse”! the ancient curse that causes sudden pain it can last for years without healing but luckily  a phoenix saved him with his healing tears. 

Suddenly, “Kazuma!” the spirit yelled trapping Jack into a cavern caused by the spirit’s magic “ I am NOT going to give up no matter what” Jack yelled angrily at the spirit, then when hope seemed lost, the phoenix rescued him from the cavern it took so long to  get out like it was like five kilometres. 

 And he continued to battle until the spirit was defeated, then an idea hit him like a lightbulb, he could use the sword to plunge it in to the spirit’s inner core to defeat it, it was challenging but he    managed to do it, first he had to dogged all the spells, hide and avoid the Casems then finally he got behind the  spirit then he plunged the sword into the spirit's inner core, BOOM ! A huge explosion took place, there were black dust everywhere, floating up to the sky like little birds, tickling all the people around it. 

 After a while he walked quietly, so quiet, that no sound was made to Sunshine Coast to see the sunset, with a blend of warm colours and an exhausted and a nice, warm feeling flooded in his body, a light grin slowly spread across his face, this feeling seemed to last forever. "Nothing is impossible if you try” Jack quietly told himself “But not just try randomly, always try your best’’, then, he slowly started to wonder if darkness will strike again, will it?

The Highschool Experience By Lilou H 

As June shook the rusty key lock, she groaned “It's not opening.” I responded calmly “Well there must be a key around here somewhere.” As I begin to look around “There.” As June looks at me pointing to a garbage bin “Time to go for a swim!” As I jump into one of the sides I shuffle around in the rubbish for about a minute before lifting my hand up revealing an old, rusty, key “Found it!” I excitedly exclaim “About time!” June shouts from the entrance doors I glare at her “anyway let's get inside already!” as I request to her. I jumped out and began jogging towards the door. When I got to the doors, I put the key in the key lock and twisted it. At first the key didn't want to open but after some time it finally opened. As my eyes looked up, I see a dark walkway which looked like to reveal a reception desk with a broken vase on the ground, a landline on a side table, & a bloodstain on some paperwork. “Umm...why is there a bloodstain on the paperwork and wall?” June shrieked. “I... I don't know” I shuttered back. “Yeah, and I don’t think we should have come here” as June glared at me like it was my fault. I glared back but it wasn't a good time to get into a fight so before I began to speak, I stopped myself as I looked back at the door it was shut, my breath went faster, “We are stuck in here!” I said panicking June began getting angry at me “well you were the one who brought me here in the first place!” “No, I didn't you wanted to come here, and you asked me to come along so I said yes!” “Yeah, but this is still your fault” June's voice getting louder and more intense “Just shut up! Ok? We don't have time for this we need just need to get out of here!” I huffed my voice still loud but not as loud as before “I know so let's find a way out of here!” June grumbled to me. “Ok let's have a look around for another room and from there we can find our way out.” I look around, I see another door that looked like it led to a classroom. “Look there's a door over there let's go.”  

I begin to walk over to the door but as I'm about to turn around to tell June something there was a growling sound coming from the other side of the door a shiver went down my spine. I look back at June She’s frozen in fear “Did you hear that?” I whisper to her in fear “y-y-yes...” she shutters back. The growling gets louder, and I get more scared. I whisper to June “Look there's a crowbar on the ground get it so we can defend ourselves!” June begins to slowly move back to grab the crowbar from the ground. She grabs it and hops back up and throws it to me, I catch it smoothly. “Thanks” I whisper as I grab it and hold it up above me in a position where I can attack. I whisper to June “Come on” as I slowly walk towards the door. My fear covered me like a blanket as I grew closer to the door. I was not ready for what was behind that door, but I knew I had to find out. I slowly open the door and close my eyes “AHHHHHHHH” I hear from behind me as I open my eyes I am met with a huge, white, tall, monster covered in blood.  

“AHHHH” I scream as I begin to run the other direction June quickly coming along I sprint up a flight of stairs and I run into a library as I enter I put my hands on my knees and started panting franticly. “Omg what was that?” June mutters from trying to slow down her breathing. ‘I-I don't know...” I mumble, still in shock at what I saw “Wait weren't there rumors about this?” “What do you mean?” June whispers with an eyebrow raised. “Remember the story about Danny?” I whisper back “What story?” “I'll tell you it all began way back in 1998 where a boy called Danny was getting bad grades and one day he met up with a gang called “M.O.E” who promised Danny better grades if he did a simple ritual however, they had no intention of helping Danny and tricked him into making something that abandoned the school.” “Omg I think I've heard that somewhere.” June exclaims with a curious expression on her face “Where?” I ask, “In a book and maybe a way to destroy it.” “Really?” I excitedly responded thinking that there might be a bit of hope that we might get out of here alive it must be here somewhere.” As I begin to look around for a book, I see a book with the title “mythical creatures” “Hey what's that?” June stares at where I'm pointing “I think it's the book we are looking for!”  

I started walking towards the book and grabbed it from the broken shelf it was on. I flick it open as I'm looking through it, I get to a page that says “Ghost lang” “Hey look at this page” I scream to her from the other side of the library. June sprints over “What what what?” June gasped as she looked over my shoulder to see the page “Oh my god oh my god oh my god this is it you found it I'm positive you found it because it matches the description and how it sounds!” June exclaims with a huge smile on her face. “Yes, yes yes!” I respond with an even bigger smile on my face. “Ok let's find out how to destroy it!” I immediately put my eyes on the page and zoom through the words I stop suddenly “How to destroy it” is the title I immediately lock my eye on the paragraph “to destroy it you need to put it on fire, fire is its enemy if it touches fire it will die.” “Fire we need fire to destroy it” “Lucky for you I heard that there are fire starters around the school just in case the school ever had to be burnt down. “Well, that's stupid to do in a school but its fortunet for us!” “Okay let's go!” “Follow me I know where they are.” June responds as she begins to run through the door.  

After turning left and right there was a huge stage and as we got there the curtains slowly opened to reveal an enormous, red, monster with a real heart connected to the side of it, beating. “Abandon your friends and join M.O.E and all your dreams will come true.” It declared in a very deep voice. “DON’T HE’S LYING!” June begged my brain was pulling me towards the idea of joining but my heart took over “OF COURSE I WONT BUT RIGHT NOW I THINK A GOOD IDEA WOULD BE TO RUN!” as I begin bolting towards the next room as I'm running, I see a crowbar on the ground I bend over as I'm running and pick it up as I enter the room there are mini versions of M.O.E which was his minions. I hit one with the crowbar and June was using her fists. After defeating all 4 minions, there was a boiler. I turned it and it began to spread smoke around the room “Come on we only need to turn on four more boilers!” I scream to June we come to another room with a couple more minions we take them down and turn on the two more boilers in the room just before we were about to run to the last room June shouts “Look a silver key!” As I turn around, I see her pick up a shiny, rusty silver key. “I think there are three keys to escape a bronze key, a silver key and a gold key!” June shouts running towards me “Okay we will look for the two other keys in the next room!” I respond.  

As we enter the next room there are the last two boilers but there are way more minions as we began to swing our weapons I take on down but as I turn around to kill another one, I see “6 minions on June all at once. “AHHHHHHH LILOU HELP ME PLEASE” June begs as she begins to fall to the ground. I begin to bult over to her I swing my crowbar, and I end up killing two of them before seeing June's half eaten body on the ground I try to scream but nothing comes out. fury began to build up inside me if there was no “M.O.E” no of this would happen I swing my crowbar immediately killing all three of the minions in one, tears begin rolling down my cheek and they won’t stop. I run to the last two boilers and turn both of them on. Then one of the boilers start beeping “beginning explosion mode” an A.I voice says from the boilers. “ 20, 19, 18-” the A.I voice begins to count down. I realise I have 20 seconds to get out of here.  

I run out of the room and turn left through a hallway and see a neon glowing green exit button above a door. I sprint over there from a distance behind me I hear “10, 9, 8-” I don't stop running and when I get to the door I push it but it won’t budge I try again “5,4,3-” I hear behind me faintly then I realise something... not every story ends with a good time. “Goodbye world, and goodbye June” I wail “2,1” BOOMMMMMMMMMMM!  

In the end M.O.E and Danny continue living under the school and the explorers’ bodies were found years later. 

The Good Bad Nightmare

“THREE! TWO! ONE!” RING! RING! RING! RING! “YEAHHHHH! WHOOOOO!”, It was the end of the school year for nightmare school in nightmare land and class 5Z was overjoyed. “All right, calm down class!”, yelled their teacher Mr. Zilla. “You are dismissed” All the students rushed out sharing the same grin on their faces, but one of them is about to have a remarkably interesting holiday, and his name is Ruin. 

“I’m home!” shouted Ruin. Everyone in this world is a nightmare. Ruin is an eleven-year-old shadow. “Welcome home, dad’s cooking”, replied a singsong voice. That was Ruin’s mom. She is a basilisk, his dad is a giant spider, and his younger sister, Lucy is an eight-year-old griffin. Ruin's parents' job is scaring. Scaring is when a nightmare goes in this tube sent to human’s minds and the nightmare tries to scare them. These people are called scarers.  

When Ruin woke up, he looked outside and saw that their plants and their lawns were infected by a weird black mist. The black mist was like sand on a beach but black and floating around. “Lucy! Mom! Dad!” Cried Ruin. “Come see!” As they all came, their jaws dropped in surprise at the sight of the black mist. “What is that?” asked Lucy. “I have no idea,” replied Ruin’s mom. When they went outside, Ruin’s dad shined a Light Torch, Limited Edition, on the mist, then, the mist went away. “So that's it’s weakness,” realized Ruin. “Light!” “We are the only people who can stop it because all the other people are in that giant storm of black mist destroying the city, see,” explained Lucy. They all looked towards the city and saw that there was a giant storm of black mist destroying the city. “Okay” said Ruin’s dad. “Let's go,” they all packed their bags filled with materials for their journey. “Okay, gang are you all packed up and ready for the adventure?” asked Ruin’s dad. “Yes!” “Yep!” “Yeah!” yelled the others. “Great!” “Let’s go!” exclaimed Ruin’s dad. As they journeyed, they headed towards the towering pillars. 

“Wow! The pillars are huge!”, exclaimed Lucy. They have been journeying for nights, and they were in the brink of falling of one of the pillars when the pillar they were on shattered! “Agggghhhhhh!”, they screamed. “Hello hello hello  hello?”, Ruin’s voice echoed across the room. Ruin realized that he was in a metal cage. When Ruin was about to cry, his fist, uncontrolled punched the cage and broke free. “Boo!”, Ruin found his sister next to him along with his family, then headed towards the exit into the wicked woods. 

“I think we’re lost,” “Are we lost?” “Yep, we’re lost.” They have been searching for days trying to find the exit of the wicked woods. “See, dad?  we are lost! “Then what is that?”  Said Ruin’s dad pointing to the exit of wicked woods. “Oh,” realized Ruin, embarrassed. As they ran, Ruin thought that there was someone snoring so when he looked next to him, he saw a sleeping dinosaur! The dinosaur was scaly, orange, and humongous. “Uh... guys?” Ruin called out. “Tread carefully,” “Why’s tha- oh,” realized Lucy. “There’s a sleeping dinosaur,” It was extremely common to find a dinosaur in the wicked woods. As they crept slowly towards the exit, Lucy stepped on a stick. “Sorry,” Lucy apologized. There came a tremendously loud roar coming from the place where the dinosaur was sleeping. As the dinosaur stood up, Ruin yelled, “It looks hungry!” yelled Ruin’s mom “I've got an idea!” Ruin yelled back. “What is it?!” asked Lucy. “RUN!” answered Ruin. They ran as fast as they could all the way to The Great Nightmare City where they lost the dinosaur. The great Nightmare city was a ruin. It looked like it was from a zombie movie! “We are getting closer to the storm!” Ruin’s dad exclaimed with joy. “I don’t think I can go any longer,” gasped Ruin as he caught his breath. “Come on ruin!” His dad tried to cheer him up. Look how far we have gone!” “And how famous we could be!” added Lucy. (She has always wanted to be famous.) “Being famous doesn’t matter,” explained Ruin. (He never wanted to be famous.)  “Oh,” the family (except Ruin,) sighed sadly “But it doesn’t mean I am stopping here!” exclaimed Ruin. “Yes!” They cried in union. “It's almost morning,” explained Ruin. “We should set up our tent here in this lovely field of grass,” 

At night when they woke up, they headed towards the storm of black mist. “We can use the giant light cannons used for any giant evil nightmares,” told Ruin. “But we need some light to power it up,” explained Ruin’s mom. They looked at the light cannons. They looked like an average human flashlight but the size of a rhino! Then, Ruin's dad “Well, I might just have the thing,” he pulled out four big looking light torches out of his bag and yelled quite triumphantly, “Behold!” “Wow dad, that is amazing,” Lucy and Ruin groaned sarcastically. “Okay, let’s go!” cried the group. They approached the storm bravely and triumphantly. “Okay! Group huddle!” yelled Ruin’s dad. “Okay. Each of us has one light cannon. GO!” The storm went towards the middle. “FIRE!” “Yes!” They cried. “The storm is getting smaller!” Then, a huge gust of wind hit them. They all got sucked in the storm except Ruin, who fell and landed on his back. I am doomed, thought Ruin as he closed his eyes and got sucked up by the storm 

When Ruin woke up, he was inside the storm. Ruin heard a million voices saying: “help!” He stood up. He shed a tear. He felt anger, in fact, Ruin got so angry that he turned giant, exactly like the dinosaur they encountered but just in a different shape and as big as the storm. Ruin let out a bellowing roar as he ripped the storm apart. A small beam of light peaked out of the clouds. Ruin did not know if the beam of light was big or small, because he was too big, but it did seem to be affecting the storm. When the storm was small enough, he blew on it, then it faded away as the storm remainders formed into a shape of a man, then the shape got whisked away. But Ruin did not notice as he shrunk down normal size then, he heard voices. It was the whole city! Cheering for Ruin! “Go Ruin!” They cried. Ruin pushed through the crowd for his parents. Finally, RuAin found them. “Mom! Dad! Lucy!” He cried. Ruin hugged his family tightly, then everyone left, as a black cloak drifted down onto the city floor. 

6 years later, the city had been repaired and everybody acted like nothing had happened. Ruin and his family had been on the news and Lucy finally became famous (congrats Lucy!). The government gave them 1,000,000,000,000,000.99 NP (nightmare pounds), so they were RICH! They moved in a mansion with 123,456,789 floors! (And with a secret underground base with their costumes and weapons! Shhhhh it is a secret!) they were living the time of their lives! 

Secret School Kid Ninja

I’m running from Jake right now and he’s the school bully. I see a door open and run into the room. I shut the door behind me as I hear a voice whispering, “where are you?” while I hear footsteps past the door as I try to be as quiet as I could. I was gasping for air as I peeked around the door, the coast was clear as I crept into the hallway and walked to my next class. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Chase, and I come from primary school. After class finished, I was walking though the hallway and saw a piece of paper in my locker, so I took it out and stared at it for a few seconds What is this I thought to myself, as I read the bold words on the paper, it had the words “you can’t run because I now know your weakness and I’m coming for you”. “Creepy, what does this mean." I murmured to myself, during lunch I showed my friends the note I had found in my locker. They told me it was probably someone playing a prank on me, but I knew it wasn’t a prank. 

The next day I heard someone in the printing room talking about me and I knew who it was... it was Jake the school bully and I heard him chatting to his friends. While I was listening to him, Now we come back to Jake talking about me, He whispered that if his friends don’t help him, he’ll punch them with his bare fists. As I push my ear onto the door, the weight of me made the wooden Moldy door collapse as I fell into the room, I guese the door couldn’t hold my weight. Jake screamed in fear “What in the world are you doing in here.” I could feel the pain piercing me in the back as I rolled onto my back. Jake ran out of the room with his wolf gang shouting random words. 

After I got back up, I saw a piece of paper and read it, it read “let’s defeat Chase and share his identity to everyone.” Well, now I know who wrote that note to me. “Hey, give that back.” I instantly knew who it was, it was Jake. I turned back to see Jake with his wolf pack, “give it back now.” He shouts. “Never” I answer back, “you guys get out of here. He’s mine to fight” Jake tells his pack, and they leave the room. “Now they're gone, I can fight you.” “Why do you want to fight me?” I ask him “what did I do?”. “You have been nothing but trouble.” Jake answers me. He kicks me in the ribs, and I fall back in pain. Then he delivers the final punch on my tummy and runs out of the room laughing his head off. “You won’t get away with this!” I yell at him as he runs out of the room, Jake got away but won’t get away next time. A few days later, I saw Jake in the cafeteria eating his lunch and a note, I didn’t know what the note was for, but I was guessing it was about me. After I finished my lunch, I saw Jake getting up from his table and walking away. I started to follow him but later I lost track of him because the crowd was so big, just as I was starting to lose hope, I saw Jake in the crowd next to his wolf pack walking towards the abandoned warehouse. I followed them until they stopped outside the building, “why are we here?” one of his friends ask Jake, “because no one will come here!” He explains. As Jake’s wolf pack walked into the warehouse as jake stays back, while he stays there, I can hear him murmur to himself “I swear that I saw Chase was following me just then.” “Yes, you did!” I shout, “now I want my revenge!” I shouted. “Sure, you can have your revenge!” Jake answered me. “Come fight me!” run towards Jake shouting, I try punching him, but Jake easily dodges it. He pushes me forwards and I fall over. “Ha, I pushed you over and you think you can defeat me when I’m on a different level of karate and I know every kind of karate, even the forgotten moves!” Jake tells me as his wolf pack comes out. “We think it’s pretty go...” He trailed off when he saw me. “what’s he doing here?” The boy asked Jake. I don’t know why he’s here, I really don’t know.” Jake told his friends. “Leave me alone or else!” Jake tells his friends. Jake does a flamingo kick towards my face, but I dodge it in the nick of time, I punch Jake in the back as he lands onto the floor. He cries in pain but later recovers and calls his friends to come over and help him. After they come over, Jake tells them to punch me, I move out of the way as swiftly as the wind. I do a spinning kick towards one of his friends and I land down like light as a feather. Another one of his friends tries to punch me in the back as I land, but I roll out of the way just in time. “What did I do to you!?” I shout at him, “I just want to make you kicked out of the school because you have been so annoying!” Jake shouts me, “you should've stayed at your old school, Chase!” “ENOUGH!” I scream at the top of my lungs “you're showing off too much!” “How?” Jake asks me. After that, things escalated. I started to fight him but later my energy started to juice out. My muscles were aching when I saw a puff of smoke and I couldn’t really see clearly but I could tell it was ninjas, my ninjas. “Leave him alone or taste the wrath of our fists!” My ninja clan growled at Jake “Come on guys let’s get out of here!” Jake told his friends. After they ran out the door, my ninja clan told me “This is the last time we help you.” “Okay. “Now you have helped me I will pay you back when you need help!” I tell them. It should be enough time before Jake does something again.  

I tell my friends, and they tell me a good job for fending off Jake long enough to have my ninjas arrive on time to help me. They tell me that the sneaky ninjas are them, and they knew that I would be in trouble. “We figured out that you would be in more trouble after we studied the piece of paper you hadn’t read the other side, it had the words: I will come back if you defeat me!” That means that Jake will come back and get revenge on me! I then see Jake in the cafeteria and give him the evil eye, Jake sees me but ignores me and walks away. “Ha, he earned that!” I told my friends. “Yeah, he definitely earned that!” They agreed with me. Jake shouldn’t attack me for now unless Jake attacks me at any time with no warning, “So I should be safe for now before Jake comes up with another plan.

CLAWRACULAR By William   

   ‘The Snakeodians are dead’!!! Screamed Clawracular. Everyone on the tables cheered as he looked at them with pride 

                                                                        5 hours before  

Clawracular was the ruler of a kingdom north of London called The Stone Realms, in the year 1500. The Snakeodians are their archeological enemies. One of them killed his mum when they last attacked when he was only one (he hated seeing peace and love shown towards each other as no one had ever loved him). His dad died 24 years later from MND. He hates the Snakeodians. There isn’t really even a reason why they attack us, they are just jealous, he thought. Now Clawracular is 26 and is only four hours away from the battle that will nearly kill him. 

Clawracular had a determined feeling inside. Also, a feeling of pressure if he did not do this the Stone Realms would be destroyed. He and his troops met at the border between the two kingdoms. They came into the battle confidently. They were 90% sure they were going to claim victory easily, like Melbourne claiming their 50th consecutive win in a row against Carlton. Suddenly their chances changed. All because of 1 sword. It wasn’t any sort of weapon, it was the Sword of Chaos (it could blast people as far away as they wanted it to go, he was truly a demon) and the unspeakable figure holding it was the one that murdered his mum... 

‘Why hello there Clawwwracular’. Hissed Snakakaka.  Clawracular didn't answer; he knew the game was over. The Stone Realm soldiers did not give up without a fight Clawracular tried his heart out to get the sword, but the shiny abdominal weapon was just too powerful.  Snakakaka Blasted him with the sword into a volcano. He had a flashback; he saw his mother’s face and then Snakakaka laughing. He could feel the ashes burning on his legs and the smoke coming up his nose. He drew his shiny silver blade from his holster and stabbed it into the wall so he would stop falling. Holding onto the handle on 1 fingertip. Standing over him like a giant standing over a human, Snakakaka looked down at him.  

“Bye, bye!” whispered Snakakaka. Suddenly a blast of light spread across Clawracular’s face. He was lifted by some sort of power that took him onto safe ground!!! It must have been his Mum and Dad using some sort of power from above. He stole the sword and blasted Snakakaka and all the other Snakeodians. After Clawracuar had the sword, they had no chance. 

A party was held. They had crispy roast chicken and veggies. For dessert they had warm delicious chocolate pudding. Clawracular gently tapped his spoon against his glass he made a toast “Thank you everyone who bought beside me it would have taken great courage so thank you!” “Oh, one more thing.” “THE SNAKEODIANS ARE DEAD!!!!” The crowd cheered in agreement. After the celebrations died down Clawracular whispered “Thanks Mum and Dad.” while he looked up as he knew they would be looking down at him. Even though he knows there is no point in war, this was a marvelous one to win. Finally, they had peace.

Horse Gone Missing

“Seriously!” “I am not, and I mean NOT going in Dad’s smelly van!” protested Alexa in disgust. “Come on Alexa we’ve been over this; I’m going to drop your brother of at soccer and your sister of at ballet and you’re going to Bunnings with your dad and your little brother.”  answered her mum “I’d rather go see Spirit.” Argued Alexa grabbing an apple and slipping it into her pocket “Honey, wait.” Her mum started but Alexa was already outside the door. 

 Outside Alexa took a deep breath of fresh air and started strolling down the path towards the paddocks. She started walking faster and faster, her apple bouncing around in her pocket until she broke out into a sprint down, down, down the steep hill until she came to a sudden stop at the gate and jumped over. 

 In the paddock she looked around at all the horses but none of them had the same brown coat with a glossy black mane and tail. “Spirit come hear girl” Alexa called out waving the apple around. No answer. Then her BFF’s horse Gracie came bounding up to her. “Hey Gracie, have you seen Spirit?” Hoping she sounded less nervous than she felt. Gracie softly nuzzled Alexa’s shoulder, then she took the apple between her teeth and chomped the crispy, juicy red apple spraying apple juice onto Alexa. As she wiped the juice away with her sleeve, she saw Gracie slowly walking away like nothing had happened. Tears sprung into her eyes and she knew for a fact that Spirit was gone. 

 Alexa ran all the way home nonstop. As soon as she got into her room, she started packing things into a large backpack food, water, a torch, spare batteries, matches, sleeping bags and a tent, until her mum poked her head through the room “What on earth are you doing in here!” asked her mum. “Spirit’s gone." explained Alexa through tears “so I’m going to find her.” she pronounced “oh no you are not” argued her mum “all right” lied Alexa trying to look disappointed dumping the bag on her bed but secretly she was planning to run away .... 

That night, somewhere around midnight, Alexa took her bag to the paddocks to find Gracie and Scout, Spirit’s brother. As she jogged, she noticed how creepy and eerie everything was at night. A shiver went down her spine and she felt a weird feeling that someone was watching her. She started to sprint, trying to get away from the fears that crept into her mind. There's no one following me, right? Alexa thought. As she reached the stables, she saw the black outline of Gracie. Alexa ran up to Gracie, happy to see her. “Hey Gracie.” mumbled Alexa “you're not going to like this but......” Alexa said jumping onto her back. Gracie let out a loud neigh as she stamped her hooves and shook her mane but soon settled down as Alexa whispered soothing things to her while stroking her mane, hoping Gracie didn't wake up everyone, then she went to find Scout. After looking for what felt like hours, she eventually found him grazing near the Apple tree. She whistled to call him over and then they were off.  She, Scout and Gracie rode across the paddocks jumping over rocks and shrubs. When the path to the roads came into view, she steered Gracie onto the path and rode out to the footpath. They came to a stop at her best friend's house. “You guys stay right here and don't move a muscle.” Alexa says firmly before slipping behind the house to find Ivy's window. When she found the window, she tried to push it open, but it wouldn't budge. After trying and trying, she eventually lightly tapped the window. “I’m still asleep mum.” groaned Ivy slumping her head back on the pillow “Ivy it's me Alexa.” Ivy stood up smoothing down her bed   hair. “What's up?” “I will tell you along the way, but we can't waste another second let's go.” Alexa says hopping onto Scout “ok I'll get changed.” mumbled Ivy, trudging over to her looming cabinet. 

 When the girls were both ready, they set off along the paddocks while Alexa told Ivy what had happened. The girls both giggled at the thought of Spirit going on a holiday. They tuned off at a path leading towards the bush. They were only riding for a few minutes when they came to a massive cliff and stopped for a sleep and a meal. 

In the morning Alexa woke up and walked towards the backpack. “Ivy!” She called “We're having fruit salad for breakfast.” “Kay.” Ivy replied half asleep. As Alexa walked back, she noticed a little fox cub strolling along the bottom of the cliff. “Aww Ivy look it’s a little fox cub.” Then Alexa heard a rustle from the bushes, and she spun around in alarm. “Hello?” She called out. Another rustle came from the bush, and a boy came out! For a long minute they all just stood there, the girls’ mouths hanging open. “Ok who are you and want.” asked Alexa. “I want my revenge.” He said darkly before pulling out a long blade that glinted in the afternoon sun, threatening to attack. The girls retreated slowly at the sight of the blade. “What’s wrong?" He sneered, striding forward “scared of my little friend?” He pointed his long blade at her. “Give me one good reason why I shouldn't push you over this cliff.” Alexa remained silent then she spoke up. “What are you doing this for?” “What did I do to deserve this?” cried Alexa. His eyes narrowed into two small slits, and he stared his icy stare at her like an eagle eyeing its prey ready to pounce. He lunged forward pushing Alexa over the gigantic cliff. “Ahhhhh!” she howled flying through the air “And I will deal with you later.” He said to Ivy, dragging her away by the arm. 

Alexa landed with a thud on the forest floor and went out cold. She woke up to the sound of running water. She put her hand up to her head, it felt cold and sticky “must be blood.” She wondered. Alexa decided she should get up and heaved herself up. Her legs felt stiff like sticks as if she had been sleeping for days. Alexa walked shakily towards the sound of the water “must get water.” She repeated it over and over. As the river came into view, she saw a little fox cub sitting on the brink of the river lapping up water with its tongue. “Hey little guy.” “Wait are you the fox I saw earlier today?” She asked, the fox just looked at her, cocking his head to one side. “Never mind that.” She said quickly, eyeing the water. Alexa knelt at the slippery brink scooping up water with her hands and slurping it up. The fox trotted away. “Wait!” She called.
