2026 Foundation Enrolments

The deadline for the 2026 Foundation enrolments is fast approaching. If you have a child that is due to start school with us next year and you haven't yet completed an enrolment form, please contact Kerry Parfett via phone or email kerry.parfett@education.vic.gov.au as the deadline for all enrolments is Friday July 25th (week 1 of term 3).  

Family Time tomorrow is Window Art

Join us in the library this Wednesday where we will be making some beautiful Window Art for your children to take home with them. The photos show a few of the templates we will have available and what the finished product could look like.  Rhoda, Atika & I look forward to seeing lots of smiling faces in the library at 3:15pm to 4:15pm this Wednesday 😉 Please remember that all children need to be accompanied and supervised by an adult. 

Last week we had lots of fun board & card games. 

Westbreen Community Playgroup

Our weekly playgroup is held in the Specialist Building every Thursday morning just after the bell goes at 9:00am until 10:30am and if it's a nice day, the group often take the children outside for a play on our playground.  You don't need to have a child at Team Westbreen to attend as our Playgroup is open to all members in our local community.  If you have a family member, neighbour, or any friends with a baby, or child under 5, please invite them to come along to our Playgroup, everyone is welcome.

Volunteering at Team Westbreen

At Team Westbreen we love having our community involved in helping to enhance the learning experiences of our students.  If you are interested in volunteering in any of the many ways available, please contact me for more information.  All volunteers need to have a current WWCC and have completed a short Volunteer Induction session with me. 

If you have queries regarding any of the above, please don’t hesitate to contact me as I’m happy to help in any way I can.

A Big Thank You to Jasmine

The Year 3 students and teachers would like to thank Anouk, Luka & Darcy's, mum, Jasmine, for taking time to speak about her role as a Zookeeper at Werribee Zoo. Her knowledge about the elephants and the enrichment tools they provide to them was both interesting and extremely relevant to our current Integrated Studies project. We feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to hear about her amazing experience and knowledge.
