Hello Foundation Families!

What a fabulous (but short!) week it’s been in Foundation! Even with the King's Birthday public holiday, our Preps have been busy little learners, soaking up every moment.

🎵 Phonics Fun:We’re nearly alphabet experts—our students have now learnt 25 out of 26 letters! (Yes, that’s right!) Each day we explore letters and sounds through songs, games, and deep dives that make phonics come alive.

📚 Reading Adventures:This week, we’ve been learning to sequence familiar picture storybooks using the terms beginning, middle, and end. Ask your child to retell a story—it's amazing to hear their storytelling skills grow!

✍️ Wonderful Writing:Narrative writing is in full swing! Our young authors have each created a character, setting, problem and solution for their very own story. Next week, we will begin publishing our books for display in our Classroom Library. We can’t wait to share them!

➕ Marvellous Maths:In Maths, we’re becoming number wizards—practising our counting skills and learning to “add one” to numbers.
