Attendance

From Adrienne Maisano, Assistant Principal
Every Day Counts
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting student learning and wellbeing, families of students with low or concerning attendance have been contacted via email. These letters are intended to keep families informed and to work together to improve attendance moving forward.
We will continue to closely monitor student attendance across the school. Regular attendance is vital – not only for academic success but also for building strong social connections and daily routines. Missing even a few days can disrupt learning and make it harder for students to keep up with their peers.
We ask for your support in ensuring your child attends school every day, unless they are unwell.
Once your child is feeling better, please return them to school promptly.
Planning Ahead: Where possible, we encourage families to plan family holidays for the school breaks, as block absences can have a significant impact on your child’s learning.
We appreciate the efforts of families who continue to support strong attendance habits at home. If you have any concerns or need support, please reach out to your child’s classroom teacher.
Remember, every day counts.
