Music, Drama and Dance

As we approach the halfway mark for the year, our Grade 3-6 students have been putting their Music, Drama and Dance skills into practice, as they work on the group scenes that will feature in our Term 4 Arts Show Concerts.

Our Grade 3s and 4s have been practicing theme-based songs, working on voices and instrument accompaniment, along with creating moments of movement and drama, and structuring their scenes. 

As our Grade 5s and 6s continue to devise their scenes, groups have been focusing on creating moments of music and dance to support the dramatic narrative of their pieces. 

In Term 3, our Preps, Grade 1 and 2 students will also be working on short performances to share with families at Molesworth Street. We’ll keep you updated!

More details about the Arts Show Concerts in the weeks and months ahead. In the meantime, your Grade 3-6 student might be able to tell you a little of what they are working on in class!
