Next week we will celebrate Shrove Tuesday with the feasting of pancakes as a community before we enter the season of LENT. As a community we will gather to mark the start of the season with Mass for Ash pn Wednesday at 9:15am for Years 3-6 and Kindergarten to Year 2 will celebrate a liturgy at 11:30am.

The Lenten season, often characterised by fasting, prayer and acts of charity, serves as a poignant reminder of this journey of Christ leading up to his Resurrection.

It offers us an opportunity to pause, reflect on our own lives and realign our priorities with the values of compassion, humility and service. It provides us with special graces to grow spiritually closer to Our Lord and change our lives for the better.

Throughout this season, our students, staff, and families will come together to deepen our understanding of Lent through various educational and spiritual initiatives.

The Family Lenten Flyer will be sent home with the students on Ash Wednesday and invites each of our families to nurture spiritual growth and practice compassion together at home.

Please keep it in your fridge and try to complete as many tasks as possible. As we look ahead to the challenges and opportunities that await us in the coming months, let us draw inspiration from the Lenten season to deepen our commitment to faith, family, and community.

SPaR in the Church with Year 5

This week, Year 5 students, along with some parents and grandparents, came together as a community in the church to pause, pray, reflect, and deepen their spiritual understanding. It was a meaningful opportunity to grow in faith and love, and we cherish the chance to share this special time with each grade.
