Dear families of Our Lady Star of the Sea,

In less than 2 weeks we will be welcoming the Sisters of St Joseph of Orange. 

If you are interested in knowing a bit more about the sisters before they arrive, I have attached a link to their website.

God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change.

As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Today I pray for rapid yet thoughtful rebuilding of neighborhoods destroyed by natural disasters. May Your provision offer victims a roof over their heads and a community of support.

Sydney Catholic Schools Week

With Catholic Schools Week and our Open Days approaching next week for enrolments in 2026 we thought that the families of Our Lady Star of the Sea may wish to advise their friends, family members, neighbours and colleagues of the dates and times for our Open Days this year - 

Tuesday 4 March  4pm-6pm

Wednesday 5 March 4pm-6pm

Hardcopies of the flyer have been sent home with your children and additional flyers will be available from the school office. If you know of a family interested in enrolling, or finding out more about our school, please hand them a flyer as a reminder to attend one of the Open Days with their child.

Thank you for your support as we start the enrolment process for 2026.
