Swimming Carnival - Grade 3 to 6

On Monday, our annual CJC swimming carnival took place at the newly renovated Carnegie Memorial Swimming Pool. In pleasant conditions, students participated in 50m freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. Some great results were achieved, with some extremely close finishes, requiring the camera review system to be utilised. For others, simply completing the 50m event was a significant and impressive achievement. 

In the afternoon, students had the opportunity to enjoy the facilities with their peers in the splashpad area, as well as the shallow end of the pool with some novelty games. 

Thank you to all staff for their support of the day, and our parent community for attending and making it a great atmosphere. Our district swim team competed today at Carnegie Memorial Swimming Pool, we look forward to hear about their experiences against the other competing schools.
