Outdoor Education

The Year 11 and 12 Outdoor & Environmental Studies (OES) students kicked off 2025 with an unforgettable coastal adventure exploring Whitecliffs Foreshore Reserve, Point Nepean National Park and the Quarantine Station.

Camp Highlights:

  • Dolphins playfully swam within 10 meters of students during the kayak session.
  • Schools of vibrant, colourful fish surrounded the group at Popes Eye, creating a truly breathtaking underwater experience.
  • Chinaman’s Hat provided an up-close look at a seal colony, with some seals diving and spinning right beside the group while snorkelling.
  • The return of the students' favourite teacher Nic Skewes.

Beyond the adventure, students explored the concept of risk in outdoor environments and discussed the environmental impact of outdoor recreation. The camp provided a perfect balance of excitement, hands-on learning, and appreciation for Victoria’s stunning coastal landscapes.
